I had so much fun this passed weekend it should have been illegal. The tracks were just outright awesome and I had a blast riding with Dan and Ryan. However once again (and to be expected) my plan to get Ryan and Dan drunk and gain a competitive edge on Sunday backfired. After a fifth of Capt and two bottles of moonshine I was pretty much worthless the entire morning session on Sunday. I did manage to get my shit together for the bump from I to A Sunday afternoon which I really needed after my less than encouraging conversation with the CR from Ryan and I first attempt for the bump on Saturday. Basically he managed to get in my head.....bad and I began to question body position lines etc. From what I understand from Dan and Ryan I was pretty entertaining Saturday evening. Dan and Ryan road their asses off at RA. VIR was a difficult track to learn but I ended up getting it down towards the end of the day. I had a similar "o shit" moment in T7 and I called it a day after that. Needless to say I am done drinking for the rest of the season as is the CR I rode down with that didn't fair as well as I did on Sunday????

Ahhh yes the rolling road block!!! Mister AMA fancy pants does have a tow for the entire weekend you and I will be probably running the Island of Misfit Toys group for at least Saturday so he will have the competitive edge come Sunday

Guy is selling 454 N2 credits for $350 on the N2 Forum. That would make it $362 for two days at RA. Pretty good deal if anyone is on the fence.

N2 has specials back up and flexible payment plans for those that missed the last round.

Race Day, Myself and Jester are committed to 12 track days the 2015 season (well they are I only got 6 but with diversionary financial tactics my wife will be none the wiser and I will eventually get my 12) For those that might be interested check out N2's website to see if any tracks they are running just might tickle your fancy. Tentatively we are shooting for Road Atlanta and VIR in April, NC Bike in May, Dominion in June. I am purposefully leaving my schedule somewhat open so I can run the Ledges with MS. I am just throwing this out there now to see if there is any additional interest that maybe more ride shares will become available. My house is pretty centralized to all the tracks, meaning you have to drive past it to go to thunderbolt NCBike Dominion Summit Etc. If anyone needs to stash their gear and their trailer at my place in between events to cut down on travel cost they are welcome to do so.

I don't know what the big deal is this super duper guys comes down and sets the lap record at Jennings. From the sounds of it I think his bike is missing two cylinders. I watched his lap times he had some 1:15 -1:16 in there. Heck I run 1:16's all day long...............at Nelson Canepa is a machine he is either on the brake or on the gas never coasting and I don't think I saw him miss an apex after the first lap I'll have the track record at Nelson soon enough..... fastest from hot pit to the shitters wearing flip flops. Jeff make sure the beacon is set waist level I don't want it to not pick up my transponder and it not be official.

I highly doubt I will ever to be able to steal the track whore crown from Race day. He still has 4-5 track days left over from last year!!!

I ended up buying six track days with N2. My plan is to run Road Atlanta 4/4 and 4/5 then VIR on the way back on 4/6.

Just checked out N2 schedule as well. I noticed they are running PIRC full course in August

I would like to try Barber as well. (2015 track day budget pending) According to Race Day he was better off just throwing his tires off a cliff then running Jennings.

I think they are nice to have when you have an "oh shit moment" like coming from riding my street bike which is standard and then going to gp on the trackbike. I had one instance where I came out of turn 13 and decided I would rather dump it back down into 1st instead of third. Thats when I just throw my hand up and do the parade lap of shame. I don't think your problem is with your slipper as much as it is with the suspension. Your bike is probably needs sag set or re sprung. Ass end should not skip like that with a slipper clutch. I have some vids from PIRC that show the speedo and you can actually see the slipper engage and disengage at the entrance to turn one. The only time my rear skipped like that was when I didn't have a slipper and didn't rev match. Hell sometimes following Jeff into to 12 at Nelson he looked like he was on a pogo stick
