  1. I miss the days of 525 blazer $12.00 22lr ammo. On the flip side, I sold a guy a box of 50 Federal AE 9mm for 20 bucks. Thats a 7$ profit.
  2. Lean it out. Fouled plugs means you are too rich.
  3. Roley told me about your problem. If you pulled the plugs and they were black, that means you were running to rich. This was caused by the new pipe. It changed how your engine breaths. Use the adjustment screw on your carbs to lean our your mixture until it runs rough (turn it very slowly), then turn it back a half turn towards rich. This should give you the right mixture. I'm sure you can find lots of videos on youtube about carb adjustment.

Oh, yeah I read you loud and clear. I meant Roley's muble-d-gunk. TY, I like things that go bang, and things with just a click.

    Hi

It's been too long, Ryan. Must have been at least 3 years since I saw you at that bar on Bethel. Lets go for a ride soon!

    Hi

Hi everyone, My name is Alex. My buddy Roley from work turned me on to this forum. I've lived in and around Columbus for pretty much my whole life. I started riding in 2005 on a Honda CX500 Custom. Then I had a 1996 Yamaha Seca II XJ600S that I brought back from the dead by rebuilding the lower end, replacing the starter gear, clutch, etc. For a short time I rode a Ninja 250 that I bought just to flip because it was a good deal. And, now I am on a 1981 Yamaha SR500. I bought it in 2011 with around 3600 miles from the third owner. It’s a very clean bike; mostly stock with a White Brothers stainless header and Supertrapp exhaust. Not to fast, but lots of torque for a little bike. I'd like to hang on to this bike for a while, but I would be tempted to get an older Ducati to wrench on if the right bike came around at the right price. -- Alex M. Brown
