If it has a vacuum controlled fuel pressure regulator then thats a possibility but I have no idea if it does or not. That could make it run rich enough to wash down the cylinder walls which likely aren't sealing well anyway. This^^^ is a better way to look at the situation.

Make sure everything is bone dry underneath, seen multiple leaking rear diffs, and steering racks. If he keeps for a while there isn't many with magnetic ride control issues, but its expensive should it need something. Other then stupid quality issues that most Vette owners point out, there isn't much bad about those. They are pretty easy to tell if they've been abused, low mileage especially.

It's a shame I work saturday or I'd like to go check it out. I am very glad to hear the Brave Lil Viewt is alive and well. :thumbup:
