  1. Do you think our “leaders” know more then you do? If you have changed your life around because of a virus, then you must be scared of what might possibly could happen. A good citizen huh? My idea of a good citizen is respecting other people’s way of life. I’m glad you can afford to be so giving when you pay your housekeeper, or tip the people making your food, but I cannot. I must work, like so many other people who need their paycheck every week. Your lack of respect for us who wish to carry on our normal lives because we will not change everything due to a virus is being un-American. Making people rely on handouts from people like you or the government instead of their own hard work is un-American. So no I will not do any more then I have to so I don’t get fined or loose my job, because I can’t afford that either. The second I don’t need this mask anymore you can bet I will never wear it again.
  2. 17 pages about this huh? This isn’t Columbus Racing, it’s Columbus Debates. Here’s a fact. Nobody knows how Covid-19 will effect them until they have it. Kills some but provides minor flu-like symptoms to others. Here’s my opinion. I will not live in fear of what I cannot control, I have no idea how it would effect me if I were to get it. I’m forced into these mandates like everyone else, otherwise I don’t care right now. I’ll cross that bridge if I get to it. Carry on debating losers.
  3. You guys still talking about this? I voted, hence there’s nothing thing else for me to do. Guess I should just bitch about the other side, that seems to be in fashion.
  4. Those are nice have, but I use my vacuum refiller a lot more.
  5. Very sorry to hear that. I 100% agree, maybe if it hadn’t become so politicized people could’ve come to understand what is really going on instead of just fighting about it.
  6. Most politicians won’t even pick up a rock and think about throwing it in the lake. Here’s a fact you guys can’t deny, everybody hates one side or the other if they care about politics in the least. My opinion, things won’t get much better in our government without things getting much worse. Pretty sure both side realize it, and neither side gives a shit about debt when they’re working towards a reset. The illuminati are ready to start over.
  7. Trump is a coarse man, no doubt. As much as I believe in libertarianism, I still couldn’t bring myself to vote against Trump. I am proud to have voted for him 3 times, he pisses people off, so what? If nothing else he is trying to do a job, right or wrong he’s making waves and that’s what the country needs. Shake things up and get things to move. He forces people to react and that forces changes. Right now my short list of people I would vote for over Trump are, Ted Cruz, Dan Crenshaw, and Ron DeSantis. Those people are the future of the GOP, and if they are running I’ll continue to abandon the Libertarian party.
  8. :dumb::dumb: You can’t be that stupid.
  9. I wish I felt like people would just accept whatever happens, but things are more polarized then I’ve ever seen them. I worry about what things will look like by December.
  10. I have nothing useful to add, but I can see why the HOA is mad. Did you triple the size of the driveway? You more then doubled it. At this point you might as well put up a “fuck the HOA” sign.
  11. Fake! This guy isn’t the best watch, but he really picks the run apart. The big part for me is the gearing numbers that don’t add up.
  12. I would go EFI hands down. If you do everything right with a carb then it’ll be good most of the time, but do everything right with EFI and it’ll be good all of the time. From a tuning standpoint Fitech sucks, there is no resolution to the tables in the tune, this may work ok since it’s not a modified hotrod, but I don’t like it. Holley is becoming the industry standard in aftermarket EFI for a reason. Besides there is alot of people playing with the Holley stuff out there so I think support would be better. Get a 4 barrel Holley setup, get over the cost, make sure it’s installed right, make sure the exhaust isn’t going to leak (so the O2 works right), and when you get into some hills or tow something It’ll just chug along. Profit.
  13. I agree. All civility is gone in politics. In 2016 I was all about Trump, even donated to his campaign. Even though I’d much rather have Trump then Biden, I find myself much more aligned with the Libertarian party. The government wasn’t originally intended to rule over every aspect of our lives, and I think more people would feel the same way if they stepped back and looked at the bigger picture.
  14. Want to have some fun? Well this isn’t it. Check out this page, https://promiseskept.com/achievement/overview/economy-and-jobs/ Then check out this page, https://joebiden.com/two-tax-policies/ Nothing is going to change. Not now, not ever. It’s a fucking joke. Btw, taxation is theft and the government is corrupt. Your vote will NOT change it. I’m definitely voting for Jorgensen, and I just hope support for the libertarian party continues to grow.
  15. Libertarian votes have gone up tremendously over the last 3-4 election cycles. It’s happening, maybe not now, but it’s coming. I get the thinking of wasted votes, but it’ll never change if that’s how you think.
  16. Biden has said he’d eliminate the Trump tax cuts, hence taxes will go up. Then if they push any of the democratic party’s socialist bullshit (ie, green new deal, free education, ect) taxes will have to go up to pay for it. I registered to vote solely to vote against Obama the second time because of healthcare, I will keep voting against this party because they push various socialist policies. I liked Trump a lot until Covid, but Biden wouldn’t have done anything different, in fact it likely would’ve spread faster because they were against closing the borders from China. Given Biden’s reaction in March and Biden’s criticism of how it was handled now proves himand his party are idiots. Some major things would have to change before I’d ever consider voting democrat. Fundamentally I can’t do it. Honestly I will probably vote for Jorgensen because not only do I support her policies, I’m sick of the useless two party system, and I believe in limited government. All either party talks about is how you should do certain things in your life, if you’re not hurting anyone then they can fuck off.
  17. Will be interesting how this stuff plays out. Will be sold through GMC dealers, so I look forward to getting one at work. I however doubt you’ll want one at 7-10 years, maybe if the value plummets it will be worth it, but I can’t see GM pushing anything to be long lasting and old batteries will scare people off. Will be interesting either way.
  18. The only choice is between Jorgenson and Trump.
  19. I gave my 15 Impala limited to my wife. Great basic car, just need regular fluid changes and it’ll last a long time. We like it because it’s one of the last things GM made that’s not loaded with driver aids and infotainment, this is also why some people wouldn’t want one.
  20. God forbid you do have an issue everything is hard as hell to get. I like these but don’t want to deal with trying to keep one nice. My buddy just had the springs break, rusted to the point of failure, and you can’t get stock height springs. Ended up with coilovers because he didn’t want to end up too low on lowering springs. I hate euro cars, but I bet that’s your best bet Grant.
  21. I think I did SKF on my Silverado 2 years ago, would do again. Pick a name brand, Moog, Timken, SKF, you’ll be fine. Or buy them at work if they have a warranty.
  22. Damnit Paul, nobody wants your damn boat but you.
  23. Most GM trucks come with a hitch from the factory, so it does not surprise me that Enterprise trucks would have one regardless. I also don’t know how many of them are going to have more then the 4 cylinder or V6 in them so who knows what you’d actually get until you’re picking it up. I’d buy a AAA membership and take my chances. Renting a truck for a week seems like it may not be worth the expense.
  24. Well I work on my own stuff, being a mechanic paying someone else would just be dumb. I admit I wouldn’t take a road trip in an S10, but they’re super simplistic vehicles. I’ll add as far as a Volt goes you are correct, I think I have seen brakes put on a Volt twice and it was recently. We were talking about how little they really use the brakes and how none of us at work have had to do them. Decent cars with only a few issues, problem is when the heat goes out (that electric heater is one of the few things we see very often), it’s a big job digging it off the firewall and replacing it. So is the noisey bearing in the transmission when it goes bad. It’s hard to judge how common some of these issues really are because it’s not a popular car at all. Overall there isn’t much else I see them at the dealership for.
  25. Kind of partial to old S10s for simple daily duties. Haven’t had one in a while but they are simple little things that aren’t hard to keep going cheap. Unfortunately it’s hard to find them now that aren’t falling apart completely. I drive my old 2006 Silverado now and I’m going to try and hit 300k+ on it, I hate new trucks and really want to see 400k+ but we’ll see.
