    Be jones

I want to race anyone in this thread. I'll be at Marion tomarow night, come on Jones I'll beat you for free.
  2. I sit just me or does the color not look very natural in the first two outdoor pics?
  3. Sounds like fun, but I have no boat.
  4. Well okay I'll give rep now, I waited since he at least said he knew a few good members.
  5. Not sure about the wheels, but a nice STi. Welcome.
  6. Well your buddies at NTB must not like you enough to tell you how to get on this site. Tell Derrick and Alex that they're dicks.
  7. I also hear a lot of people running what I think is too low of pressure in these, I've made my best passes with 20-22psi in mine. Many people run less then this, but it doesn't work for me, I have pics of mine starting to wrinkle the sidewall at 20psi cutting 1.47 60' times. Obviously everybody and every car is different, it's just my opinion that you don't need to run these with low pressures.
  8. I've never had an issue, I always roll through the water with mine. My burnout procedure consists of rolling straight through the water, stopping, getting smoke rolling, and letting off the brakes so it keeps spinning until I'm away from the burnout box, but thats just what works for me.
  9. ET streets or ET street radials, either way I'd think you'd want to roll through the water box.
  10. This, its frustrating when people want to blame you for shit that isn't your problem, but it isn't your problem.
  11. This, Canada crossed my mind, but passports I did not have.
  12. I didn't check the bedbugregistry before going, I didn't know there was a bedbugregistry, I just checked it and there isn't any reports. There will be here in a minute. I thought like most places there are good and bad areas. I was actually in the nicer area of Dearborn near the edge of Dearborn away from Detroit. It seems to me now that Detroit/Dearborn just consists of bad and worse areas.
  13. So early this morning when we got home we stripped our clothes off at the door and hosed them down with the bedbug killer we bought on the way home, and waited out side for each one of us to take a hot shower. We also completely hosed the car, luggage, and clothes we wore yesterday down with chemical as well. All of which is now in a hot cycle in the washer. Everywhere between the front door and shower got treated the same way, of which she is now going to town on the rest of our apartment. I hate bugs but she is livid, and she really has some type of phobia. Not only did we do everything we could keeping from bringing them home my apartment is getting treated at this time.
  14. That vid cracks me up, my wife does the same shit, one nitrous pull and she won't get back in my car either.
  15. Warning: this is mostly just me bitching about a really bad experience. So yesterday my family and I started out on our small vacation with plans to go to Cedar Point yesterday and the Henry Ford Museum today. We planned this late without much money allotted so we thought it would be fun without spending a fortune. Got up early and went to Cedar Point, we had a ball, Katelyn got to ride rollercoasters for the first time, got her over the anxiety of Top Thrill Dragster, all in all a great time. After that we traveled up to Dearborn to the Hotel we had reserved. At check in the lady, not only rude, could not find record of my reservation which I had made online from their website. So she makes me call the corporate office to straighten it out, so after spending almost an hour getting checked in we go up and look at the room. It appears clean, we pulled the sheets down and again appears fine, so we decide to go get somethign to eat and since it's getting late we swing by McDonalds and wouldn't you know more really rude assholes. We go back and go to bed, well that lasted for about an hour before my daughter yells that there is a bug in her bed. My wife and I go over and inspect, fucking bed bugs, my wife flips out being a major bugophobe. We all stripped down put on fresh clothes from our luggage which was not near any bugs, and checked out of the hotel, got our money back, and was told that we could go down to their other location in Dearborn but since we had a little girl we wouldn't want to because there were prosititutes. We procede to get lost looking for other hotel possibilities at 2 AM driving through Detroit, so we found the freeway and drove all the way home on about an hour of sleep. Now for anyone interested in visiting this area, the Victory Inn appears to be a clean decent place for a decent price, but it isn't. I couldn't find anything bad about them with a few basic searches online except for some trivial shit. So since we wanted to do this trip as cheaply as possible it wasn't a 5 star hotel, and having stayed in quite a few cheaper hotels as a kid with my parents wasn't expecting bed bugs, but I guess they have been making a comeback. Cliffs, After a fun day at Cedar Point we wanted to spend the night in Dearborn and visit the Henry Ford Museum the next day. Everyone we delt with was a rude asshole, the people drive much worse then they do around here, and my trip was cut short due to bedbugs. The whole area of Detroit and Dearborn is a shithole, the hotel was in the nicest area I saw.

    July 30th MCIR

I'm undecided, but if Phil and a few others actually go, chances are good that I will too.
  17. Where does all that water come from? You guys get flash flooding often?
  18. I have had a really good experience at Kraft's Body Shop down off of Goodale, they did a nice repair on the side of the Camaro. If your damage is cosmetic I'd recommend them as I don't think they have the equipment to fix anything major. I've delt with McCombs and while they do a great job fixing damage I think their painting sucks. I've had a couple friends use Dodd's out here on E Main with nice results. In before everyone says Kevin Clifford.
  19. LS engines are greatly engineered, but I'm surprised the rod bolts didn't let go before then. God I love these engines.
  20. My old truck had 5% on the back window and 20% on the sides, and only got "talked" to about it once when I was ticketed for speeding. Drove that truck for nearly 5 years that way, pulled over a few times, never ticketed for tint. My wife's Impala had 35% on the sides and she has never been pulled over at all. I beleive there are just a few cops in and around Columbus who write tickets for stupid shit like neon lights, window tint, and front plates. So some people have more contact with these dick cops then others. On another note I think 50% is worth it with a quality tint, it will make a noticable difference in heat reduction. Most people who don't like 50% think cars don't look cool unless they have dark windows, and are the same people who give me shit about not having anything on my Camaro. I also don't want to give police any reason to bother me in the Camaro and it gets driven at night most of the time anyway so there is no need for tint.
  21. It sure shouldn't have sparks shooting out of the compressor, so that is bad or going bad very soon. Craig knows what he is talking about, but with the description you provided I'd be leaning towards a new compressor. These parts last a lot longer if done with the right equipment and expertise sense it sounds like you may need more then just a recharge.
  22. This was my thinking, but I didn't know if they came factory with HIDs or not.
