I've seen a similar issue with a different vehicle where it wasn't priming the fuel pump, the fuel pump would only run when cranking and would cause an extended crank time.

Well thanks to a good deal on a clutch and flywheel and not being very busy this afternoon the Miata got a new clutch and flywheel installed. The old one was most likely original since it said Mazda on it and the flywheel was blue. Car feels much better even though I was being easy on it. Next up some brakes and bracing, at least now I can drive it without babying a slipping clutch, and the brakes work just not well enough to abuse.

Might have to go check this out I haven't made it to this show before.

So true, I keep saying that I'm just going to fix up an old truck for a daily and not have payments, then for some reason I just have to have a new one. Depending on vehicle and parts availability, I bet you could walk into any Monro/Midas/Tuffy with a manager looking to make money and they'd do it. There are a lot of close minded fucks in those ype places but when I worked there I was like fuck it its money.
