Yeah depends on your definition of saving money, saves some money gas wise, but it doesn't save enough over driving the truck to make up for the payments. If its nice out it'll be close though, especially if I ride it rather then go drive around in the Camaro.

It a brand new 2009, so the deal was pretty good, it's a carb'd 750, so not fast, but it cruises at 70mph without an issue. I'm enjoying it. Is your truck white too?

I'll bet I've let 20+ gallons build up in the garage, and I'm just to lazy to take it to work. My shop and my Dad's shop all burn their oil in the winter, so I don't really know who you'd find anymore.

There was so little difference with a 4th gen it was pointless, biggest difference was a hood and wheels. SLP didn't do much unless the original owner bought some of the options offered by SLP. You mean when the 5th gen was released? Thats what the ZL1 is going to be, it was talked about as being the Z28 but doesn't look like it'll happen. Good luck with that. Highly doubt this too. GM's only turbo 4 cylinders currently in production are the Turbo Regal 2.4L, and the 1.4L turbo in the new Cruze. Haven't seen anywhere where they're developing an engine worth putting into a bigger car like the Camaro. I wish they would do something with the Z28 nameplate, but in my opinion it needs to be a good handling car like the original Trans Am racers of the 60s.

I haven't met but a couple girls like you, and you are by far the best looking. Compression test would be next to impossible out of the truck, but hell for $200 a general inspection for damage and even if there is something wrong with it you'd just be out a few bucks and time (can scrap it for half that). Just the risks you take with situations like that.

Never heard of removing the inner spring, built a few things with Dad over the years and never had an issue. Just used the break-in method, and the break-in oil is a no brainer.

Trans won't take much abuse, typical GM shit like wheel bearings, ABS wires break on some of those, intermediate steering shafts can rattle, I'm sure there are a few other stupid things I'm not thinking of, but overall they're nice cars when taken care of. I had a Park Avenue Ultra a few years back and loved it until some dumbass pulled out in front of me. The N/A 3800 Impala we have had since about 30k and it has about 160k on it now, has been a good car, had the trans rebuilt at 150k, other then that it hasn't been an expensive car to maintain.

I'd vote LS2, plenty of options down the road.

It'll be mid 200s hp, high 200s torque, but it'll still be slow with you driving.
