Yeah basically, it's the worst part of the car, but it grows on you. The guys who order these won't order the other option, but something has to be changed to cover the blower.

yeah well........... we also have a new 2011 Callaway Grand Sport might be a little higher then your 80k limit, but it's a badass car. They take a Grand Sport, 6 speed with a dry sump LS3, Z51 suspension, put a TVS 2300 blower on it, nicer wheels, and sell you that with all the warranty from GM rated at 606hp. Of course if you want to go over budget the Callaway Z06 with the Carbon package that we have is a ZR1 killer. Having never driven a GT-R I'm obviously biased, but you owe it to yourself to come see all the Vettes on our lot.

Yeah I forgot all about this, the flexplate was the first thing I broke on my Camaro, and it did sound just like a rod was broken.

Can't go wrong with a Chevy, easy enough to fix, resale isn't bad, and there's a percect 2006 Z06 that hasn't made it to our lot yet with only 935 miles. Have a couple others sitting here too so you can at least come by and see them.

$2000 isn't going to get much, that limits you to a used short block out of a truck IMHO. By the time you buy it and have all the smaller expenses like gaskets, lifters, and such it adds up quick. LS1s are pretty desirable so a good used one might be possible, but might take time to track down. If it were me I'd grab up a LQ4 because they are cheaper and easier to find then a LQ9 and when you put your 243 heads on it will bump the compresion. So long as it has the knock sensors in the valley cover all your stuff should be direct bolt on.

A lot of things posted on CR are in poor taste, so when I posted a little extreme to where I stand in reality just to push buttons, I was just amazed at the backlash. Though I really shouldn't have been surprised, point taken. Let me just say in closing that I would not torture animals, but have no issues with euthanization and don't like cats.

Eh at least I'm smart enough not to have pets, I regret getting the cat in the first place, but when it kept fucking with my daughter it had to go and being the overprotective parent I wanted to kill it. Still don't get why people get all in a tizzy about some animals. I think there'd be a lot more vegetarians if people had to kill their own food.
