Set-up the progressive, it'll take working on it. Your car is more then capable, just needs tweeked. However everybody knows that I don't hold anything back, so i wouldn't blame you for not taking my advice.

As long as you don't sidestep the clutch or just outright shock the shit outta the drivetrain the chances of you breaking something isn't bad. The tires spinning is much better then sticking and breaking something. Until you're ready to deal with a broken part just be happy to get a 2.0 60' on street tires.

Wouldn't surprise me if thats Steve Cordle's car, seeing as how its parked at Cord Camera. He's a nice guy and into cars. You can really see the resemblance to the Lotus, another big surprise.

The vortec 4.8 and 5.3 share teh same block and are in the LS family of engines, however the LQ4 and LQ9 are 6.0 and are a little different. All of these engines share teh same external deminsions, and basic design with the LS1. An older 350 engine shares almost nothing with the newer engines, so no it wouldn't be a very cheap swap.
