  1. I saw a car today with plates that said "SEPT 4", I thought that was interesting.
  2. So you've given up on swapping an LS1 into your car huh? I don't see why you wouldn't consider a car from a private owner, you can still get a loan from your bank its just a little more work on your part. Drew's car would be right up your alley, already has some parts you'd keep and it's the not too common hardtop stripper car.
  3. Seriously? I hope you didn't pay anywhere close to the asking price.
  4. Apparently some dumbass with shit like this http://images.autotrader.com/scaler/240/180/images/2009/8/29/267/296/12868952106.267296917.IM1.09.240x180_A.240x180.jpg and this http://images.autotrader.com/images/2009/8/29/267/296/12868952108.267296917.IM1.11.565x421_A.562x421.jpg and I thought my engine bay looked half assed, at least I don't have that decal.
  5. I'm going to beat, uh idk. Go Brian and his nitrous, win one for the nitrous'd f-bodys.
  6. because you took the turbo off for weight reduction?
  7. Man just go take a break, you'll get it when you get back to work.
  8. Pull the input shaft out of the trans and insert into clutch, bolt the trans to bellhousing. Sell the truck and tell them it just needs a battery, don't forget to take the battery out.
  9. Wow I haven't laughed that hard in a while.
  10. whatever, I like figuring shit like that out.
  11. Okay so I felt like figuring out engine speeds. According to this site http://mkiv.supras.org.nz/specs.htm the tires are size 255/45/17 which would make them 26" tall, and the available tranys are the 6 speed with either a 1.312 or 1.205 4th gear, the 5 speed is a 1.0 4th, and the auto is a .705. Final drive on the N/A 5speed and auto is 4.08, the 6speed is 3.79 For an N/A MKIV Supra export with the 6 speed its either 4473 RPMs or 4108 RPMs with the 5 speed 3693 RPMs with the auto 2604 RPMS Hope this helps, only wasted 5 minutes fucking with that. edit: I learned a few things about a Supra today. edit2: yes thats for 70 mph
  12. night man? okay sure Brock.
  13. +1 An improperly torqued mounting bolt (usually the bottom) will make a rattle or clunk over larger bumps, but if everything is tight you'll just have to deal with it.
  14. Emo response: eh fuck you all. CR response: You all suck at life, you make me want to go punch babies. *This is why you suck* My response: ??
  15. Shows how much I know, I didn't realize there were two differnet ways of having a non-solid wire.
  16. WTF is wrong with you? First you insist on posting in every thread and then you talk about drinking like you've done a bunch of it. Dude seriously you're 19, you haven't even been able to drink legally. When you're 21 there are plenty of people who will show you what drinking is.
  17. Need to inspect the tranny mount, and the u-joints in the driveshaft. Bet you find the culprit if you get under it and start shaking driveline components.
  18. Why is this thread still going? I'm not going to read all of this, so I just wanted to stop by and say fail.
  19. Criminal cops, more great news of the world.
  20. +1 If you want to become a decent welder, you need to learn with a decent tool and that is not one. I can hold my own MIG welding and I couldn't imagine learning on a flux core welder anyway, next to impossible to make nice work. Invest in a smaller gas feed MIG.
  21. If I didn't have my daughter tonight I'd gladly join you.
  22. I'm going to bitch about how stupid this shit is, you're a dick. j/k Linn in a cage, LOL
  23. I enjoyed wings and too much beer last night, I know whats up. Do it.
