  1. I hate government involvement, and the fact that they feel the need to take control of our lives is bullshit. All the overhead expenses a doctor must incur is a major part of the problem, so why not help aleiviate some of that. Help the doctors and hospitals get costs down, and drive down the costs for everyone, me, you, insurance, and everybody. No, instead lets make most of us pay more. My wife carries our insurance, and busts her ass at 2 jobs to make ends meet, why in the hell should we pay more for lazy fuckers to get healthcare because that's how I see it? If you can't afford to live, then die.
  2. That spider injector shit sucks ass, I recently replaced the whole set-up on a 4.3 vortec and it had been redesigned. Soaking the set-up usually makes it worse, and to the best of my knowlege you're stuck replacing the whole mess. Prabably better off that way, maybe you'll get the newer set-up with injectors and no "popits".
  3. LOL, that's who my wife had when I met her. They wouldn't touch me with a ten foot pole.
  4. Erie? Never even heard of that.
  5. I'm sure this has been discussed at some point, but my insurance won't go down. I've dropped half the points off of my licence, and Allstate doesn't care. We've exchanged a few phone calls lately with them telling me that my Z28 causes the extra money. I've been with them for 11 years, but they won't budge so fuck them. Who do some of you guys use or recommend?
  6. Blow it up and I'll buy it for parts.
  7. Good stuff, I still can't get over how rich GM still makes these cars under WOT. Thanks for sharing.
  8. Gearing, traction, and horsepower curve all play big variables on how either roll or dig races play out, obviously. As stated earlier cars will act different, now I'm sure if you looked at times from the 660' to the finish on a 1/4 mile and trap speeds you may see some difference.
  9. Cool, how much timing does these new motors like?
  10. Well you know us Chevy boys are so good at working on our cars because we do it all the damn time. Anyone who does a build all the way through has my respect.
  11. It is a good looking car, welcome.
  12. ooo an Evo, I've never seen one of those. I didn't come down there, so when will you be coming to C-bus?
  13. So in the past few months I've got the new engine in and running, fixed a free tranny and installed that, rebuilt my rear-end, and decided to go back to MAF tuning. The car runs, drives, and is working really well considering my cheap ass hasen't had near the amount of money to drop into it as I'd like. Even my wife can drive it now as I've gotten pretty good at tuning.
  14. Is that an intercooler peaking out from under the front bumper? Got to give you props on the good work even if you are a Mustang owner, welcome.
  15. Do all your own work? Looks like you've come a long way.
  16. Try reading the stickies. A decent intro is required. edit: much better
  17. WTF? edit: nevermind I get the title now I'm just a little slow, and who cares?
  18. Phil's Rodeo qualifies too.
  19. I thought it was hilarious that none of my vehicles qualify for the cash for clunkers program, not my Camaro, my Impala, or even my old ass 1988 S10. However if I was Phil I'd give them his Camaro, it qualifies. I've been up all night and I'm bored.
  20. If you mean the plastic cover that goes over top of the engine, sorry I don't have one of those.
  21. Would love to find an older Chevelle, EL Camino, or Malibu. Realisticly you could almost get into an LS1 car for 5-6k, but LT1s are a dime a dozen and suck. 80s G-body, something I can put in primer and go old school with a big block.
  22. pre-NTB meet at Steak&Shake EMain and 270, for those of you who are like me and can't wait. By 9:30.
  23. How come I never see you out?
