Casper and I had one of them at Putnum last month and towards the end of the day it got very sketchy! People were literally stuffing their front wheel in to get around her, I understand the fact its novice and everyone should be able to ride but for someone like that they should put a coach with them full time for safety.
After the first session (possibly second) they gave her a dedicated female coach. The first lap we almost had a 30 bike pileup on the front straight because we literally almost came to a complete stop on the front straight as a result of her.

LOL jesus. You dont need to replace all that. Maybe your helmet, although I dont think you hit your head in that pea-gravel. Maybe a bar end. Boots, gloves, suit should be fine.
But I get where you are coming from, still sounds greedy.....
Aiming high and willing to settle. I know they are going to try and beat me down on costs, but ultimately they are responsible because they're knowingly let me buy a faulty product.

I will be there with @ricer1 all weekend.... Heading out tomorrow morning but we are high class people so we got a hotel.

on rsv's (cartridge) the bypass valve was failing, they paid somebodies engine rebuild...

I've sent an email saying they need to reimburse me to replace my helmet, boots, gloves, suit, fairings, slipon, and bar end. Fortunately doesn't appear to be any engine damage. Took her out today and bike seems like normal.

At least I've become a martyr. Definitely going to be contacting K&N and telling them they need to reimburse me for the damages to all my equipment.

Also, some of these shots were taken by @jacobhawkins father. Special thank you to him for helping make this event even more memorable.

Nice to see some depth of field. Assuming your fiance has a good bit of experience with a camera?
It's definitely a hobby of mine, which I enjoy a lot, but she knows the frustrations of always shooting others but rarely getting my own photos so she has taken it upon herself to learn more about how to use the camera. There were lots of shots that she messed up because she forgot to move up the shutter speed and/or ISO (if needed) to give a bit more sharpness but I appreciate the fact that she will at least do what she can because she knows I enjoy it so much. ( I should have taken out of manual mode and put it into shutter speed priority)

Mid-O is running on Labor day (9/4) and the day after (9/5).
As of right now, it's @jacobhawkins and myself confirmed. We would like to run Monday 9/4 so we don't have to take additional time off of work, however it all depends on weather. Anyone interested is welcome. We will be throwing in on a garage again, room for 2 more bikes comfortably.
Post up if you'd like to join us or planned on attending one of these days. I'm looking at you @DerekClouser @Tonik @TimTheAzn @Blitz
Interested, but I have to figure out what's up with the GSXR motor first. Although, as interested as I am in going, I may have to space it out a bit as I'm still paying for our upcoming wedding so can't spend too many extra funds.

Um... they didn't cover flags in the riders' meeting?
They most certainly did, I just think @Tonik wanted another hot lap.

Good work on saving it @DerekClouser. Scary fast place to get the wobbles, but better than it happening mid corner.
Agreed, all considering I'm glad this happened on the track and not on the street too....

So lets talk about what happened after this happened.
They red flagged the whole course. I know what I think that means based upon my limited training that morning. Someone tell me what you are supposed to do with a red flag.
Get off the track ASAP, not blow passed the pit and get another hot lap in like someone did.

I always just hand tighten my filters. I've never used a K&N Oil filter before and this will be my last. I'm still hopeful no damage was done to the motor.
This is the result of it failing on the back stretch of Mid-Ohio at 12K RPM at ~140mph.

What an awesome time, even with my crash at the end, still had a great time. Thank you @Tonik for sharing the experience with me for our first track days together. Thanks to @TimTheAzn for helping show the ropes.
Here is the video for those interested:Looks like the K&N Oil Filter failed and shot oil everywhere ---

I believe it's the nut weld I didn't really investigate 100% yet but I will when I get home

First track day. I'm pumped for tomorrow.
These track guys are pretty cool. Really embracing us newbies. Except @Tonik cause fuck that guy.
