  1. Thank you to everyone who attended!!! You made this event uphold it's name, Epic Ride!!! The event didn't have as big of a turnout as some of the other events, but everyone was very social, and that made this event special. A lot of new faces showed up, and I was able to meet a lot of new people. No egos throughout the ride, which was awesome! Everyone came out for an enjoyable ride, and I won't speak for everyone, but I believe it was perfect for one of the last rides of the year before the dreaded winter. A special thanks goes to Wolfman1! Thanks for getting there early and putting up the signs. They were well designed and made for easy organization. Apologies to everyone that I couldn't get everyone rounded up for a quick meeting before the ride, the NEO group got there late and wanted to get the fast group off quickly so those who needed to get home before dark, could still possible do it. Not as many pictures and videos were taken at this event, but that's mainly because we missed Nivin and Dan, but I definitely saw a lot more interaction between riders. I think that was a huge focus for many riders this year and that's great!! Tpoppa, JackFlash, and Helmutt -- Thanks for leading the other groups! This route isn't the easiest and you guys executed flawlessly! The transitioning of riders to different groups was perfect and kept everyone as safe as possible. Jacobhawkins and Heagachongoose - Thanks for bearing the med-fast group throughout the duration - Apologies for the first half, just couldn't get comfortable on the new bike and was mentally blocking some things apparently, but we definitely picked the pace up in the second half of the ride. Jacob, I look forward to our next ride together! You throw that whale around great and I've seen your progression over the last few rides. You've definitely progressed greatly! Not only in your riding, but your confidence on the bike has increased drastically as well! TimtheAzn - Thanks for coming! You did it on the triumph! Close to 500 miles and you even said you weren't sore. I wonder how you feel today reading this but nevertheless, it was nice meeting you! I better see you on some more of our NEO adventures. Next time we won't slab the last part home!! All twisties!! And to everyone elseI forgot to mention! Thank you everyone for coming and I hope you had as great of a time as I did! I hope everyone wants to come out for the next Epic Ride in the Spring 2015!!! I promise the t-shirts will be made this time! I'm going to spend the winter finding a dependable guy. I have some great ideas for the next shirt, involving both sides of the shirt!!! If anyone has any ideas on how to keep improving the event, please feel free to post here or send me a PM. I am always open to suggestions. I believe Nivin and I are going to be creating an LLC for the ride, which may open up to some sponsorships. Some ideas I have are bringing in a mobile dyno to the event so those who want to dyno their machines can do so. A local motorcycle shop also mentioned that they would be willing to come out and grille some food for us and offer some special discounts at their store as well. All great things to make this event better!!! SEE YOU ALL AT THE NEXT EVENT!!!! PS: Snot get back in the kitchen!!
  2. For those who didn't see me at the event, the shirts guy bailed and never responded after 10 calls and 4 emails. Therefore, I am going to refund everyone's money back to paypal, unless you want me to just keep the money and apply it to your next Spring Ride t-shirts. Please let me know if you want to just apply your payment to receiving a shirt next spring epic ride. Those who don't reply by next Friday will just be refunded to make it simple. Sorry everyone that this didn't work out. This is the second guy that hasn't panned out. On a positive note, I have good ideas for next years shirt!
  3. Everyone, to keep everything organized, when you arrive, please park your bikes in the area of the group you intend to ride with. Please have a full tank when you arrive. The gas stop is at about 80 miles. Just before we are ready to send the fast group, I will get everyone together for a brief talk to make sure we have enough leads/sweeps and then get a group picture of everyone.

  5. I'm hoping for this. The ride 2 years ago was so fun. Last time, the fog and cold definitely made for a less enjoyable experience. I have hopes for this one though... the weather looks perfect.
  6. Looks like the repavement is complete. Such a fun road. Lots of twisties and many are open turns that you can see the through the corner. Here's the video of us running through it last weekend on the Z1000 shakedown ride.
  7. 1 week away! OP is updated with links to rider meetups for riding down to the meet spot for specific areas. Weather looks good, in the high 70's and clear, so hopefully it maintains that through the week.
  8. Yea, I'd say be at Millersburg around 745. Better to be a bit early to ensure you don't miss the caravan.
  9. Updated the OP for what everyone requested group wise. Need to get some more sweeps and leads. 10. Yea. It's a big parking lot. You'll have plenty of space for your trailer.
  11. Well I messed up the date. I meant Saturday sept 27. Can a mod change the title please??

  13. As long as you are safe, I don't care how long you take.
  14. I'll argue the best bike to start on would be a ninja 650 or sv650. Both have enough engine to never get old but won't get you into much trouble even pinning the throttle. Great handling bikes and good gas mileage.
  15. It's your own fault you don't text me anymore. I figured it was cause you were talking to that dude Kevin and he felt insecure.
  16. Definitely not slabbing Running 83 into Coshocton, then 541 to 79, 79 to; 16, Brownsville Rd which turns to 668, then 93 to Logan. http://tinyurl.com/n5bebaz
  17. I can understand the fears of sending money without knowing me. I can assure you I gave far more devious plans than taking peoples $15. The only thing I can say about that is this isthe second set of shirts and everyone got their shirts last time and I had to pay out of my own pocket because the original vendor backed out last minute so I had to go to a more expensive vendor. There is no requirement to buying a shirt and if you'd like to not get a shirt this time, I'd be happy to still meet you at the ride and maybe you'll have a bit more confidence for the next one. If there are quite a few people who have this fear, Casper has asked if I wanted to sell the shirts through the site. I can certainly arrange this if it gives more confidence. This process would just cost $1 more and I wanted to keep it as cheap as possible for everyone which is why I didn't do it this time. Let me know if that way would give people more confidence in buying shirts.
  18. Just a reminder, today is final day for purchasing shirts for the epic ride. I'll be placing the order tomorrow for all the shirts.
  19. Yes I took a trip down there last weekend, to get a shakedown ride on the new bike. Contemplating best detour with whaler. Appreciate the heads up
  20. Yes. You can bring the wives. Again we just prefer ATGATT.
  21. Welcome. Look up rides and events. That's the best place to meet people for rides. Saturday, September 27 is a big ride. Meeting in hocking hills. Check it out. We'd like to see ya there if you are interested.
  22. Welcome. You should come to the epic ride on sat 9-27. Good place to meet a lot of people and have a good safe ride
