  2. I finally made it out to Ray's for the first time last night, what a blast! Sure is a nice option to riding the trainer, will probably be getting a Dirt Jumper for there. Videos on youtube can make the place look tough to ride, but most areas you can roll over the jumps if not ready for them. That was what I did at first, by the end of the night I was getting a little air on them and now I'm hooked!

Eddy's does a ride Tues nights 7-10 where $20 gets you in and a rental bike. Come have some fun!

  3. That's great! I've been cycling on the road for years and just got into MTB this year and love it. The biggest thing is maintaining momentum and learning to let the bike float underneath you. Careful on the trails when wet, those rocks and roots get super slippery!

  4. Mohican is fun too! Was gonna go there Friday, but figure I would get in a good trip before winter.

Trek is great! Super fast and nimble. I often regret going hardtail until I am on the trails with it. May get a more trail orientated geometery with full susp bike next, but this thing is so fast and responsive may just rock a hardtail for a good while.

  5. Nice Warbird! It is on my list. Others on the list are Niner RLT 9 and Specialized Crux.

I don't care to do any CX Races, but gravel races have me interested!

Thanks for the input, when we doing OR ride?!?!
