Called M&M prices are GREAT compared to other places I called. I'm kinda rethinking this milling thing. I'm milling them bc I don't want to drop the cash on the 799 or 243 castings. I'm not sure if i should scrap this idea and just get the other heads or what now. Decisions Decisions.

I've seen ppl mill the 317's down to .050. I just want to get it to stock LS1 compression and still be able to run a decent cam. I think i'm already going to have some PTV issue's with the .030 and say an MS4. I'm having Pat G @ EPS doing a custom cam though. The 317's flow just as well as the 799's and 243's but have less compression. I figured a basic p&p and mill i'll have what I want instead of spending $400 on 243's and then still no p&p. We'll see what happends. If it sucks then i'll swap em out eventually. I'll check on this M&M place since i'm in delaware.

Where is a place I can get my heads milled around town for a good price? LS 317's just looking for a .030 mill. If anyone can take em to work and do it i'll pay you or whatever. Thanks,

Matt i'm not sure on the fans. I pulled from the pick and pull out of a GM Car. I can't even remember what anymore but they been sitting around. They were pusher fans. I can email you pics if you'd like. John I emailed you some pics.

Yes after they are a certain age you don't need an FFL anymore and can just ship anywhere. I forget the years exactly but the Luger does not qualify I know.

Its just copied out of my ad on the luger forum. I know in Ohio there is no need for FFL or anything.

TTT Still have this as well. I found out though that the hold open is missing. Which means when the clip is emptied the action does not stay open. Price drop to $1500 because of the missing part.

Amazing is right I'll keep it for anything less than $1700. Price is top dollar for one but its keeping me from selling it lol Wife wants me to move some of my guns lol I think if i move some of the others she'll let me keep this one. But if someone wants to pay $1700 i'd let it go.

I know the upper is a 45acp. What i really want to know is if Colt shipped this gun as a .22 or .45. That makes the big difference in what its worth really. Either way its a nice shooting gun. Anyone interested for $800

Yes it could be worth more if rare, i've called colt only to sit on hold and be told to call archives on Wed which I have done and left messages with no call backs. This is a Service Model Ace Frame with a 45acp 70 Series Slide/Action. There is basically no way to tell if the gun was shipped this way or its a conversion kit. Either way I know the gun was shipped in 1982. It also shoots awesome! Anyone interested? Going on gunbroker soon.

That I cannot answer honestly. I wouldn't imagine much. I tried to do some researching and couldn't come up with anything.
