I've got an 01 XR that's supposed to be calling me back tonight. He's only asking $750, and it's just on the other side of Columbus, so it sounds like a solid bike. I totaled up the recommended mod list on the OMRL site and it's around $600 before I hunt for deals. I'm cool with that, it'll just be the challenge of getting the parts here quickly enough. I've seen the one in Delaware... I both called and emailed and no response yet. Good finds on the wheels, the latter one looks like a winner, don't have the time or patience to bid. Do you know if the front brake is a direct fit into this wheel?

Haven't been here quite 30 days yet, but I'm seeking out an XR or CRF100 to race in the stock class and F3 class of the Ohio Mini Roadracing League. Interested in hearing about anything people might have, bonus points (and money) for any bikes that have the XR80 front wheel and/or BBC front or rear Springs!

Wow, that looks like a great route.

I thought it generally referred to the overall gear ratio... The gear ratio will get taller whether I add a larger sprocket to the countershaft, or a smaller on the rear wheel.

I was under the impression that "Taller" gearing would lead to a lower highway RPM, while short would increase RPM at speed...

I should get there around 11. From the sounds of it, you might have to do a mass class on suspension setup! What measurement tools should we bring to set up sag? If we all bring the tools, you can walk us all through it at once... efficiency!

That sounds very familiar... I once, sorry twice, bought a Ninja 250 to lend to friends to get them riding. Went on to sell both of those bikes... With this Bandit I'll have my car and 3 bikes in a one stall garage, and a KLR650 back home in Minnesota...

Well, it's a worse excuse when you think about the fact that I'm buying this bike because I'm bored, and want to sell it to a friend to get him into sport touring riding...

I'm buying that Bandit 600 on Sunday already... Bummer. Another time for me.

Earache is out for the second weekend in April, but he's theoretically available for the 5th and 6th. If Earache and alansz400 are available, lets look into that. The weather on the 10-day predicts 50 degrees with low chance of precipitation.
