  1. Welcome, im also in west Chester right off I-75, Cincy Dayton rd. I usually ride every weekend. Will be gone for a few weeks tomorrow, but feel free to hit me up to ride. I ride alone a lot and it gets boring. I did go on a group ride with several people here on OR and it was fantastic, great people here.
  2. "If you tasted something and it tasted disgusting, why on earth would you force yourself to eat or drink it again and again until your taste buds are so numbed you no longer feel the disgust, and come to believe you enjoy it? This is pure torture. So is PIV." This is by far the worst comparison to bad sex, or to not enjoying it in general. I think what she meant here is like asking, "why is everyone else having sex all the time like it's their favorite food?" hmmm... Probably because most people do not share this insane point of view, clearly she thinks her experiences and beliefs are absolute and universal for all regardless of ones own personal feelings. While the rest of us are off enjoying the sweet foods of life, this lady is working on unloading this theory (sorry, FACT) that recreational sex is again human nature. bullshit. Im not even defending men here, im just annoyed how our society is producing more and more people with ridiculous beliefs who try to force it upon others like religion. No body can be right just because they want to be. I bet she doesn't like chocolate either.

    Sigh

Yeah I thought I was slick carrying a fresh large pizza that barely fit in my bookbag, it turned into the biggest pizza roll ever! It was fun unrolling it and trying to act like nothing happened to my friend who split it with me..
  4. Welcome to the friendliest place on-the-line lol. I'm like 25 minutes south of kettering/dayton. I'll be out this weekend, hit me up if you wanna ride.

Yeah, paying a shop to put a rear sprocket on is probably gonna cost you a chain and front sprocket lol. When your ready for this stuff let me know and I'll be more than happy to help you out and show you how to replace it all.
  6. haha, take your time just wondering. We've all got priorities

perfectly well and fine with me. I'm currently in the same position, just trying to get road worthy, should have my new tires any day this week. I'll be way too excited when the mail lady drops them off, like shaking and twitching from withdrawals all the way to the shop to get them mounted on until that cool wave of adrenaline rushes through me and I have my fix haha. I'll give you a shout when im ready to get out, maybe we can meet up for some more good riding sometime this weekend

    Sigh

Can't say im surprised to hear of something like that happening, even more so since your not riding some 250. If I hadn't met you getting off your bike, I wouldn't have guessed it to be yours. Not to make any excuses for the situation though. But have you done much research on sprockets? There's alot to know in that realm, just because your bike came with an aftermarket sprocket doesn't mean you have to get the same one, in fact you could very easily find there are better options out there that better suit you and your riding style. You can make changes to the sprockets that will make your bike feel like anything from a docile sheep to a raging bull. Its all about rider preference, also the material of the sprocket comes into play aluminum VS. Steel, ect. (life span). Basically just saying don't make your decisions based off the bikes previous owners decisions. Good luck tho, of course you'll always have plenty of supports here it seems
  9. Hey rollnhot did you get any video on that go pro of yours?
  10. Welcome, that's a cool ass bike indeed
  11. So any idea how many might be attending this? If I get lucky and my tires get here Friday or before, I'd like to join.
  12. that's a good motivational technique, without coffee at the top of my list at 4 a.m. every morning, I could easily skip the next items like 2.) get dressed 3.) pack lunch.. Then I end up half naked and hungry by lunch time. Caffeine is a hell of a drug..
  13. Will do for sure, look forward to it, Dayton is a brisk jog for me compared to hocking
  14. Didn't really check mileage, but probably around 600 for me. My ass was pissed on the way back, I need a better seat, or a gel padded ass girdle. going to Denver in a couple weeks for vacation, when I get back first order is new tires, break em in, and id personally like to run back up to hocking for another day of good riding. I'll be sure to check if anyone else would like to join to get a small group together possibly. Anyone know a cheap place to get tires mounted and balanced north of cincy?
  15. Will do, I was worried myself before I left this morning, and that was before I could see bands. I'm not ignorant lol just didn't want to miss out on the ride, worth the risk in my book.
  16. Yes gorgeous day, well worth the freezing hands this morning. And the roads were superb, thanks Hellmutt for leading the mediums had a great ride and it was a great pace for me. Glad to meet so many good people, ready to do it again without silver tires
  17. Great ride today guys and gals. Was great to meet some new people, drool over all the sweet bikes, and have a last ride on these ridiculous tires haha.. Wish I didn't have to take off early but I'm glad I made it home without any issues.
  18. Welcome to Ohio, somewhere around the 50th greatest state. (if you grew up here) maybe 45 if you just moved lol. I've been to Cali more than a few times, definitely an awesome state. I'm shooting for a Colorado move in the not so distant future.
  19. Haha, that is a very well thought out sales approach. I hope he sells this bike to a man with erectile dysfunction and he gets cured.
  20. yeah, I'm planning on getting to a few or more rides over the summer. Its not my intension by any means to follow above my skill level, just trying to meet some people, have fun, get more experience and become a better rider. Riding alone is cool an all, but a shared experience is usually better IMO. I used to go to track days with my brother and watch him, so I know what that level of riding is all about. But that's not exactly what I plan on getting into, at least not for a while. Too much money involved for me. I enjoy daily commuting, and spirited rides through the back roads, its all fun. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
  21. yeah true, that stuff is pricey. Haha but yeah, a good sound system will always improve handling too, gets you in the zone lol
  22. Gotcha, yeah getting lower and stiffer make a world of difference when taking corners. I like the CTS tho that's a nice car. I wonder if you could swap calipers and rotors from the CTS-V for the 13" rotor an 4 piston calipers, that'd be a good upgrade for stopping.
  23. Thank you kind sir, and yes I've already seen plans on a hocking hills ride from Springfield on may 17th I believe meeting at competition accessories, I'll be attending that should nothing get in my way.
  24. What do you have planned for your CTS man? I've also got an s14 240sx with an SR20 swap, it will eat up twisties sideways or not lol. that and my bike will be my summer fun.
  25. Ok awesome guys, I'll definitely be getting in touch. I need to get some long rides with company under my belt. I knew there had to be plenty of people around me who ride, I've seen tons of people roll into cycle specialties, just never had a means of meeting anyone really.. But yeah, keep me posted on the next ride. Sent from my PI39100 using Tapatalk
