  1. Love mine. Couldn't ask for a more reliable, cheap, fun bike. Its the all in one package....budget package Looks nice man.
  2. I agree, what happened was probably the best it was gonna happen, you definitely have more control over the what happens in this situation getting upright and picking the best line to try and slow down even if you end up off the road. There's such little control when your leaned over and trying to ride out the gravel, you'll just end up exactly where you don't want. Sorry about what happened guys, get better, get back on.
  3. Im quite literally upset/sad because I got a screw in my month old rear tire as I pulled into my apartment complex today. Fucking shit. Yes, I'm in a way "lucky" it didn't happen further away from home. Guess ill be plugging it tomorrow til I can afford another one. My face since 7:30 >> :...(
  4. Im with robin hood on this one. I don't feel like he was showing disrespect of "certified techs" but rather bringing to light that not everyone can afford the cost of such a specialized mechanic. I don't think he should have been ridiculed in the first place for working out of his own garage, if people choose to take their bike to him for work, its going to be pretty obvious they won't get a dealership experience, but you know what as long as someone has a good reputation and actually takes pride in their work plus they're aren't charging premium rates, I don't see why there is anything dishonorable about that. His methods are his business, if he gets the job done, doesn't do any harm, and has satisfied customers then all the power to him. I will always champion a good side-job-mechanic, especially one as seemingly well experienced and qualified as this guy.
  5. haha, I agree. I've just about got her tidied back up. Rest of replacement parts will be here this week. Im excited, be even more excited if I can get it wrapped!
  6. PM me your email or post it if u don't mind. Easier to send that way
  7. Oh cool, I have a 95 eclipse. I hope there doing a 2nd Gen. But I also have a nice s14 240sx that would look sweet wrapped. Would appeal to the tuners. They have any interest, im willing!
  8. yeah, it will probably have some revolutionary new feature with some wierd name like traction control, and they'll hook it up to a button and glue it stuck to the ON position.
  9. Anytime, need any other machine work done let me know.
  10. yeah, rather drive my 240, its quite a "slingshot"
  11. I would absolutely love to get my hands on one. Have no idea if it would be in my price range though. If you decide to raffle one off, put my name in like 10 times
  12. Price for RidersDiscount's Daytona 675R
  13. Yeah I had my visor up, and when I was about to hit the thing I thought it was gonna be in my face, so I closed my eyes and turned my head for a second, a second later i was just shocked it didn't go so badly. Don't think it crapped on me or the bike lol, probably left its last bowel movement on the pavement. Those birds sure are ugly as hell.
  14. Stuff like this make me so angry to hear about. I could go on for days about number of reckless, inconsiderate, selfish motherfuckers driving around. People need to seriously chill out, as far as I can tell drivers in general have only gotten worse and worse over the years. RIP Gayle, ride on in the afterlife.
  15. Soooo. im on my way home last night around 8:00. I'm half way through my favorite 2 mile super twisty local road (old Colerain road) and as I come around a bend going approx. 60 mph, I see a fucking huge turkey vulture eating a dead opossum I confirm after the ordeal. So naturally the bird tried to fly away, we make contact, im guessing I broke its neck. I'm so thankful it didn't take me down with it because for a moment I thought for sure I would loose it. Luckily the bike didn't suffer any damage, just obtained a few new feathers and the headlights got turned down and loosened. I guess I should really be happy it wasn't a damn goose or I could have ended up in prison or something lol. Rest in peace Mr./Ms. Scavenger. I posted pictures in my gallery, to much of a pain to resize and attach to this post. why only 32.5K limit on these posts? that's tiny.
