  1. I should be back on two wheels soon. Sadly not in time for this Early June at the latest.
  2. Had a recent turn of events, my attendance to the event is now questionable.
  3. Had a recent turn of events, my attendance to the event is now questionable.
  4. The race team is still being funded. Hero cough cough. There is much more going on here. Most likely a hostile business move by hero to score ebr for pennies. Getting their foot in the US in grand fashion.
  5. Just bought myself a deka. Great batteries. Good strong crank in all weather. My last one lasted 7 years with no tender.
  6. I was just on 2 the other day. I forgot how good those ol' kentucky roads are!
  7. Drc32-0 let me know when that is. You'll be in my backyard. If I didn't have to work Sunday I would tag along. Last I was out the roads were good. The west side of 217 got fresh pavement last season. Spots of 141 are rough. It got rougher around 233 if I remember right. 650 and 93 is spotty.
  8. I'm really not familiar with using google maps that way or I would. The big highlights in scioto county 125, 140, 93, 522, 650, 335, 139, woods ridge (chip seal), Greenbriar rd, Jackson fork rd, and if you feel like venturing into Pike county 335 continues into Pike and gets very interesting. 327 is also good. Park service roads (paved) in Shawnee state forest have some amazing views and turns, Pike forest too. As for Lawrence county; 141, 775, 217, 218, 243, 650, 93, 522, 790 (my favorite road in existence.), Hannan Trace rd, Basically any paved county road here is awesome. Lawrence co = low traffic very little patrolling EXCEPT in the Hanging rock area. HRPD has one of the highest citation rates in the country. Roads are usually clear. A few tricky places with badly marked signage. 5/6 20 degree hairpins. Scioto county: 125, 522, woods ridge, greenbriar, jackson fork, 335, park rds are all pretty clear. the rest are moderately trafficked. Roads are USUALLY pretty clear. I tried to get a ride assembled last summer but no bites. Here in the next month or so I will put together an other one. And hopefully have things mapped out by then lol
  9. I take the sidewalk before I split the lanes. According to the gentleman with the pretty lights on his car, that is also frowned upon.
  10. Depending on how far south you go, I can point you to some really good roads in lawrence gallia and scioto counties.
  11. ^^ Same lol. I'm out for this sunday. I'd be down for a long ride the next Saturday though.
  12. Q3's are awesome and a ridiculous deal with the rebate. The only downside is I only manage to get 15-2000 miles out of a set. I went through 5 or 6 sets last year. Avons are great. If their equivalent outlasts the dunlops and are a good price, I wouldn't be against giving them a try.
  13. Lol. I have an 1125. Its really not that complicated. It seems a little ridiculous but until you completely tear it down yourself it doesn't make much sense. It really is a joy to work on. My most reputable mechanic is myself. I make it a point to learn and maintain everything I own. I suggest you grab a manual of the interwebs and do it yourself. There are a few dedicated buell forums where you can get all the help you need. The xb is a simple bike and a good place to start learning. It's a rewarding experience that saves you much in the long run.
  14. Hey guys. Tried this last year and had no bites but I figured I would offer the same thing again this year. This is for the South central/South Eastern Ohioans (or north eastern Kentuckians, Northern W.Virginians), that wish to ride to the epic ride in a group. Seeing as little of interest I had last year, route and time is flexible depending on interest. I don't mind to stop or meet anywhere along the way. Pace will be quite spirited depending on the weather and other riders comfort. It will be a good warm up ride for the remainder of the day! I will be departing from Portsmouth Ohio at 6:00am. We will set a tentative meetup in Jackson Ohio @ 6:30 British Petroleum Mccarty Lane & Rt 35 Jackson, OH 45640 From there secondary meetup in Athens(Just North) @ 7:30 Speedway 319 E State St Athens, OH 45701 From there, 13N to 78E through McConnelsville to 83N to the meeting point.
  15. Lol. It's the thought that counts. I went ahead and splurged on a bell star the other day so no more agv searching at the pony for me. Lol
  16. ^sweet! What time is the shenanigans starting?
