Yeah! It's on the calendar, gone all day... I'll be in the med-fast group and I just tried to send a PM about the shirts but it looks like your box if full. How do you want the dough sent your way? I'm a medium.

I have an RF-1100 coming from an HJC CL-16 too. Night and day. I know the 1200 is "better" but I got the 1100 for a steal in a clearance sale. I'll assume the 1200 really is better, and damn, the 1100 kicks ass. Can ride all day (put in a 12 hour day last weekend) with no discomfort, cooling air flow is great, and air flow around the helmet at speed is way better. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of pin lock shield, but the 1200 comes with one. I thought the wind noise is only a little better in the Shoei than the HJC, but earplugs solve that anyway. My Cardo bluetooth headset fits fine.

Oh man, that looks like fun. Running a race Saturday morning, so no chance to make it up in time. Damn!

As said before, take that MSF class. It's a lot of fun and you'll be a much better rider. No paper test to get the endorsement, just a basic skills test.

Hi Chuck, it was good to meet you, and bring that KTM down for the epic ride in September, that thing would be a blast!
-
Oh yeah, and thanks to Rob for giving me a push after I killed my battery early on Saturday!

I had a great time, I'll be there next year. Thanks for organizing this, John.

Waky waky eggs and bacy!

I'm really curious about this, thanks for posting this up. I'd love to see it and, don't hate, but I also miss me some NASCAR now that we canceled cable...

Glad to see you're ok and I agree with Derek by recommending getting a new helmet. They are one time use sort of things and even at "low speed" that foam compresses and becomes much less useful in the event of another impact.

I'm looking forward to it, first time headed down with this group, went on the 4th of July this year and had a blast. No major traffic/cops/other knuckleheads in the morning...

Got the Pelotonia email, I'll be there.

Woah, glad you both wear ATGATT.
-
Wow, glad to hear you will both recover.

I missed the shirts last time around. Just sayin'...

Oh cool, wasn't sure about the engine size difference. Sorry about that!

Haha. I ordered a top case for the FJR about 3 months ago, that's the only contact I've had with them. Also, it seems Copeland won't need this for his Buell, so if anybody needs this for their 650 twin, its still in my freaking living room!

yeah!! that would be awesome!

I work at a job shop machine shop and we get this kind of thing in occasionally. If you don't have luck with your extractors, I'd see if there are any shops around that might be able to help. Bolts are not usually hardened, but if you get the threads screwed up enough to need a helicoil, it might be wise to have somebody put that in for you. Good luck!

I believe I'm registered. John, if it doesn't show up on your end, please let me know. Unfortunately, I only have the FJR... I'll carry lots of stuff I guess, but that cooling fan will be running non stop I'm sure!

Needed new tires bad and wanted to get my suspension set up in a basic street way. During the front tire install, he found a blown fork seal and was able to get it taken care of within a day. The bike feels great now! Just got back from a 300 mile ride and no complaints from the PR4s or the sag setup. Thanks a lot for the help, you're a gracious guy.

Needed new fork seals too... Won't be meeting you guys after all. Hope you're having more fun than me.

Sounds good! Thanks for your support, glad somebody can get this out of my living room!

My wife works with the owner of this bike! She saw it in the garage yesterday to show me, cool to see it was done here.
