I am sad to say that I had critters in my box. The air filter was filled with bird seed. I was amazed how much those little bastards stashed in there. I'm guessing that it was about 1/2 full. The pleats are still full of the stuff so I'm trying to track down a replacement filter before I put it all back together. Nobody locally has one in stock.

Im heading out to the garage in a few minutes so I'll post an update soon. The bike hasnt been touched except for an oil change. Ran it twice afterwards for maybe 60 miles with no issue.

I'll pull it apart this weekend. It is under the tank so I have to pull the pastic and seat in order to gain access. I may also try to empty the tank and put new gas in the tank.

The 1 year warranty ran out in Nov. I declined the extended warranty. I have been talking about trading it in on an FZ09 or GSX-1000s. Maybe this is my sign. LMAO

I took the FZ07 out for a quick run today. The bike starts and idles fine but is way down on power. The bike won't pull past 6k in any gear. The gas is only a couple of weeks old. Not sure to start on troubleshooting. I'm looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Has anybody had the chance to ride a GSX-1000S or F? I was kicking tires at Iron Pony earlier this week and was checking one out. The reviews seem to be raving about this bike. I'm curious to see how it compares to the FZ-09 and Z1000 on the street.

I'll second that. You use your phone to tell the Comast what to stream and then the phone is out of the loop on a home network configuration. You could then shut the phone off without interrupting the video. The only way the phone is in the loop is if it us being used as a hotspot for the Chromecast. I haven't tried that configuration.

I almost forgot how therapeutic a ride can be. Even a 30 minute ride helps to mellow out a shitty day. Decided to go out and charge up the battery and get some fresh fuel in the tank. Hopefully I can burn some of it up on Sunday.

Don't you run up the electric bill by having PCs run 24x7? I'd need 3 of them running at any given time plus the ones in the bedrooms would need to be quiet.

Chromecast = meh. Roku = good. I also picked up a Roku tv cheap on black friday. The chromecast is now on a tv in the basement. I don't have any apple devices or content so I didn't consider Apple TV. I booted Dish so the roku devices are used daily. I use a Tablo to record and stream OTA tv. After thinking about it for a minute I'd need a chock or something to keep the bike stable at the opposite end of where it is being lifted. Hmmmm

I'd like to have a way to get the bike off of the ground. All of the lifts that I have seen don't work with sport bikes because the exaust is in the way. One option would be to pick up a set of stands. I also thought about something like this instead of two ladders, a broom stick and some straps.

Need some motivation to get off of my ass. I'm off today and need to find something to do. Gun range or end of season MC gear shopping?
