I took a spin around the alum creek reservoir. I need to find a road with some curves close to home. I think that I have going in a straight line figured out.

After a little bit of thought I decided to rely on the collective wisdom of the group. I went back to IP and exchanged Sons of Anarchy wannabe jacket for a Joe Rocket Atomic 4.0 jacket with armor. I went with the grey version with reflective white stripes for a little bit of visibility.

We had quite a bit of rain today in Cbus. It won't do much for gravel but it should get some of the salt off of the roads.

Thanks Isaac's Papa. The jacket that I brought home today was a 3XL so I'm out of luck. Looks like I am going back to IP tomorrow. As far as pants go have been looking at Kevlar jeans but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Same here. I took the bike for a 15 mile ride and then washed it before I put it away.

I just picked up a Unik vented leather jacket from Iron Pony. After I got home I was thinking that maybe I should have gotten something with the armor built in. What is the prevailing wisdom? Would I be better off with an armored under shirt so that I have some flexibility in what I wear? I could also get one of the armored hoodies but that would be more $$$ than just stepping up a few bucks on the jacket. I was trying to stay somewhere in the middle. I don't ride a Harley and I'm too damn old to be a power ranger.

Very nice! I have never owned a Windham rifle but I think that most of the employees used to work for Bushmaster so it should be one hell of a rifle. That makes my A2 HBAR with the standard stock look downright booooooorrrrrrrrring! You need to put a bayonet on just for the hell of it.
