  1. I agree entirely. It's been one of my favorite combinations lately. Not to mention I'd get to leech all the vintage Honda info directly out of your brain that way lol
  2. You make fair points lol new shoes and cables and petcock on the way
  3. https://m.facebook.com/events/834332509981604/?ref=98 Lowbrow customs is having a swap meet/show in Medina. I'm going to try and go it's from 8-2pm and looks like fun and is close to home for me. It'd be cool to meet up if any of you are going. ALSO! I have a band, The Windstars, and we will be playing at the First Amendment Bar in Wooster from 8-11 that evening (provided our bassist doesn't destroy the band by then). We play covers and originals. Classic rock, punk rock, garage rock. We don't do any screaming or heavy metal. It's a pretty "cozy" venue that treats us right and pays well so I always try and get them business when we're playing there. So if anybody's looking to make plans you know where I'll be.
  4. Alright, much thanks CSC (see, I learn). I'll gut them and asses the damage. Just seemed like something you could adjust back to functionality, considering it went into storage in good condition
  5. Alright, guys. The owner just came met me at work today and gave me $350 cash to get started on his bike. I'm thinking for startes, I'll replace the tires, cables, gas lines, and rebuild the carbs. That will take me to around $250-300. His brakes suck. Bad. Front and back are drum, I've never worked on drum brakes. Can these just be rebuild and adjusted, you think? I have a hard time believing this thing went into to storage years ago with braking power this bad.
  6. Jesus, I went to public school. It's not my fault lol heading into work 12-9 so I'll be used up all day. I'll think on it and let you know if I'm down to take a look.
  7. And just to be clear, I'd like to replace the wheels, front and back. I said rims, but you guys know what I meant.
  8. Thanks man ???? is CSC a guy one here, or a business?
  9. Aye, got both at my place too! I just don't know how to use em. I figured my question wouldn't be as simple as "buy this size". My only other thing, and maybe I'll get over it eventually, but I don't want to do anything irreversible to this bike (like trade the factory rims away).
  10. How much maintenance are spoked rims? I come front the land of pedal biking where 20 spokes carry your weight.I don't know what I'd replace them with yet, but I'd like to be able to look online. Not against spokes, depending on your answer to me first question.
  11. I have a 79 cb750. I don't hate the ComStar rims, but I'd like to see what else is out there. How do I find the rim size, off of tire size? Also, any suggested replacement rims?
  12. Oops, here's the back.
  13. These were his racing leathers too. My dad never talks about any of this shit. I looked into getting these leathers remade. $1200. They're a two piece zipper suit. Unfortunately my dad weighed in at a whopping 135lbs, I'm no lardass, but at 21 I've got 40lbs on him at the same age.
  14. Damn, sounds like an awesome bike. Pretty much what I want to do to a bike. I've got a lot to learn, good thing I've got Skullcrusher to inform my dumbass lol Fully respect and appreciate you giving it to your grandson. My dad sold his Kz1000, I kid you not, the day before I turned 16. I understand his choices, and I know it was for "my own good". I just would have loved to keep that bike in the family. It definitely hurt to see it go. Especially because I followed up and the kid just flipped it for cash. I would have had, and loved, that bike forever...
  15. Are you willing to part ways with it eventually? Also, how well did that turbo work. I just started researching turbos today. Is it all noise and good times, or is it a noticeable performance upgrade?
  16. I'm not against a busa MOTOR. I just think that street bikes are expected to be fast. I want to make something that nobody will expect to be that fast, and then to have it blow their tits off. This is all very early though process. Just need to feel put a starting bikr so I can start "planning"
  17. It doesn't have to be an "unarmed victim zone". That point is kind of lame to me as we've seen multiple school shootings, none of the kids (or adults) responsible had their CC. I say why not?
  18. I'd appreciate it! Doesn't need to be big, just fast lol you've got my #. Girlfriend wants to go to Aruba, so I won't be able to get another bike till there's snow on the ground
  19. I definitely think I want a Kaw. Idk, why, probably because my dad always had one. The ZRX looks mean, and is mean. My dads old Z1 had a skull and crossbones with "rambone" written across it on his tank. Somehow I missed the badass phase of my dad, but I'd like to revive it.
  20. Guys, guys! I think I'm in love with the ZRX! Its pretty much a sport bike motor in a classic-ish frame. You could definitely make that Kaw LOOK like a sleeper too. I live 2 minutes away from Dragway 42 and want to have something to take next year without. My vmax times were just the reported ones on wikipedia, and although it is super quick I think its too ugly for me too ever love lol
  21. I meant 4, twin just slips out every time I say v lolBandit almost looks too much like a sports bike for the project to be a success

(Tonik to Bull) I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well to tell you the truth in all this excitement I kinda lost track myself. But being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world and would blow you head clean off, you've gotta ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?
