I will say I was not a fan of the 4sp slushbox in the wifes '10 Impreza we had. The engine seemed fine but felt underpowered attached to that terrible tranny. Unless you are going turbo that would be the same setup in either of those cars. We had a terrible issue with rattles. After 4 times at the dealer for it I gave up and we traded it in. Unfortunately we were past the lemon time in CO.

Sure we can go with the Supreme courts decisions. In United States v. Miller (1939), the Supreme Court ruled that the federal government and the states could limit any weapon types not having a “reasonable relationship to the preservation or efficiency of a well regulated militia”.[" Also when one looks at the origins of this amendment we see the real intent. "The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed; a well armed and well regulated militia being the best security of a free country but no person religiously scrupulous of bearing arms shall be compelled to render military service in person.[" So what well regulated militia are all these gun owners in?

You just have to create the right culture. That doesn't happen when it is stupidly illegal and many people do not do it. In CA where it is done all the time I did it for years with not one single issue. The cars know you are doing it and they behave accordingly. As for if they get pissed off frankly you shouldn't be anywhere near that same car not 10 seconds later if you are doing it correctly. So they can sit and stew in their traffic.

Based on what you are saying it sounds like this course can be done without ANY previous training or use. A CCL should not be a beginner course. It should only be available after passing stringent other courses. These are bloody firearms not toys!

Hmmm I'm not sure how much it would cost to ship. It is light but bulky. I may be heading up to the Cleveland area again in the not too distant future if you are not in need of this right away. Are there any good routes to ride up that way from Columbus?

Cleaning out the garage and have a number of leftover bits from my o4 SV650S. Just make a reasonable offer before they end up in the trash. Much taller windscreen. Some scratches but otherwise in decent shape. Brand new shift lever Rear pegs, were rarely on the bike as I had a custom high mount exhaust setup Brand new sealed throttle cable Passenger seat, no tears just dusty. It was rarely on the bike Rear grab handle For some reason I took a pic of the bottom. I don't believe there is any damage to the top of it. If you are interested I can take pics of other other side.

I scraped up the chin of my helmet once. If I had a half helmet I probably wouldn't have broken anything but you never know.

I agree. I was at COTA this year for MotoGP and it was empty compared to when I went for F1. I don't think I will be going back to COTA. Just too much of a PITA.
