I don't think he was necessarily making a comparison about economic models. Maybe more to do with our terrible medical system that also is the most expensive. Usually you get more if you pay more, or at least that is supposed to be how it works. But not for Amurikan healthcare. Pay more get less.

Those that make the rules don't have to follow them. Isn't that how it is supposed to work??? Congress rights laws that exempt it, lobbyists write laws that exempt the company(industry) that they work for, that congress then passes as their own. We certainly need rules in place to corral congresspersons but the people that would write them are the same people that don't want them. We are screwed.

Tend to agree. A slow drawn out death is worse than a quick one. I feel like the best bet would be a republican candidate, if they have all three branches locked down I feel like that is the best bet for putting the final nails in the coffin. We tried this for a few hundred years, learned it wasn't designed perfectly so lets try again.

I get what you are saying but to play devils advocate; if he already can have anything he wants can he be bought by others? Theoretically if he can finance his election by himself he doesn't owe anyone any favors. Does he actually believe what he has said about healthcare and taxes? Who knows, unfortunately you don't know until many years down the road. If it came down to him or hillary I might for the first time vote republican. Just to see what happens. I am curious to see how this continues to play out. The billionaires behind the republican machine are not going to much care for him. For now it is fun to just watch. I do agree with your sentiment though; how poor our system if the only way to be president is to either be a billionaire or bend over for one.
