Firstgear Jaunt T2 Jacket in red. I had a few modifications done to it. -Removed the pockets on the inner side of the jacket. (cell phone pocket and patch pocket) -Cut down the collar in front. I found it dug into my throat so I had it re-worked. Looks very factory, see pic. Size Medium, but these run a little big. I normally wear a large. Comes with the inner removable liner. Taser was voluntary, and I did not chose to do it. Would be my luck, I'd get tased then go home and my heart would quit. However, knowing the OC now, if they said it was OC spray or 5 times getting tased, taser would win every time.

I just had to for work. OC, right in the face. Worst thing I've ever been through in my life.

I fucking hate rain. Spent the last 2 hours in a biblical downpour. Finally got to the hotel. And to top it all off, I fell down the fucking stairs at the hotel. 60% chance of rain tomorrow.

Sorry to interrupt this thread on visors, but.... The girlfriend got Friday off, so now we're leaving in the morning and taking a meandering route down. Still going to stay in Maryville Friday night, but we'll be exploring Daniel Boone National Forest on they way there. Saturday will be riding all the fun roads around Robbinsville. Since you guys won't be to the cabin until Saturday night, I'll meet up with you there and maybe have a beer or two with you guys before calling it a night at the Microtel in town. I've got a gift for Dan I need to make sure we meet up and give him. Then Sunday will be a meandering route home. Wish she could've got Monday off too, but she's got to work.

Honda sent me a recall on my Grom. They want me to take it in and replace the emissions sticker on the swingarm. They won't just give me the sticker. Not gonna happen. I'd probably end up peeling it off anyway.

Finished work on the Strom yesterday and took it for a spin. It runs so much smoother after adjusting the valves. Trying to figure out where to stay Saturday night down there. Looks like all the various places are filling up quick.

Hey Dan, remember that Winding Stairs Road I told you about. It was closed, and I went around the gate and road it anyway, it was overgrown but passable on a bike. I found out it's re-opened now. One road north of Wayah road, at 74. Will have to give it a ride when we get down there.

Pretty sweet place. It's no 5 star, or whatever they rate hotels. But for a cheap place in the heart of motorcycle heaven it's awesome. And I hear Dan gives motorcycle sermons in the chapel out front. Girlfriend has to work until 3 on Friday, so we're slabbing down there and will get there late Friday night. Ride all day Saturday, wander home Sunday. Could possibly bring an air mattress and stay at the cabin with you guys? I'll have to think about it.

The girlfriend and I are probably going to be down in that area on the Strom that weekend.
