The fabric in my Arai is way softer than my Shoei, but my Shoei is quieter. Both are great, was just getting my forehead rubbed raw from sweat in the Shoei. I have purchased 3 HJC CL-17s though. Nothing fancy but they pass DOT, come in around 100-150 and have had 0 issues with them. Actually, I got one from RidersDiscount.

Hey guys! My girlfriend and myself are having a barbecue at our place. The get together has a vague start time of 2PM on the 1st of July. Thats the Saturday before 4th of July. Happy to have anyone local stop by for a drink and a burger. I have no real end time, if its cool enough I will start a fire and probably be smoking cigars all day. We will be buying beer, soda and water. I believe I will be making sangria as well. I plan on grilling hotdogs, burgers and brauts. My girlfriend will be making vegetarian friendly things since shes a picky eater. So probably kebabs, mac and cheese and some other stuff! A handful of my local riding friends will be attending, so most likely we will be doing a bit of riding around town and some back roads before drinking. Kinda snuck up on me that it was already June! Very motorcycle friendly little town. Fair is always packed. Whole road just for food, lots of vendors, bands and beer.

As a previous FZ07 owner and having an FZ07 as my first bike, I will give you some advice. Dont buy it as your first bike. The throttle is not for giving, its either off, or its really on. Thats something I didnt learn to control for a while after buying it and I wish I had started on something else. There were many questionable unintended accelerations. Its a great bike. Just not a great first bike.

@yoshiii Ill go look at bikes and gear with you in person if youd feel more comfortable going with another ride to talk stuff over as you look at it.

Really appreciate it! It was literally EXACTLY what she wanted. Other than a gear shift indicator, which she will learn she doesnt need. Such a spot on call! I just lubed the clutch, that was the only thing bad about it, and its 100% flawless now.

Thanks for the tip off on this bike Isaac's Papa! @Isaac's Papa 2006 Yamaha FZ6! Around 12k miles. Absolutely amazing condition for 11 years old. Not a scratch on the tank! My girlfriend is very happy as its intended for her to upgrade from the KZ305!
