Not sure that gray goes well with the green. Other than that it is looking good.

I knew going in the green would be hard to match up. Plan to use vinyl graphics to break it up a bit. Tried a few different things and I like the purple/white but I was using scraps, ran out and the purple is no longer available. Got some material on order though. Back to the drawing board.

I have heard of guys buying used rotors that turn out to be warped. Rather just buy new. OEMs with the mounting bolts are $400 at Partshark. Around $450 for EBCs.

Pretty sure mike can get you some ebc rotors. I’ve ran the cheap Arashi branded rotors with no issues. I’ve used scotch Brite and sandpaper With a sanding block to clean up old ones. Cleaning up is worth it as long as there still over the minimum thickness.

  3. Well not sure how old A bike your thinking of but if it’s something with a strong following it sure helps. I currently have two 20plus year old bikes in my garage being redone. Both ZRX’s so not that old but carbs, old electronics, dated suspension, odd tire sizes and finding parts make it interesting sometimes. Luckily there is a awesome forum dedicated to these bikes. Handful of members are machinists and make and sell some very nice replacement parts and mods. Also tons of info to help if you do your own wrench work. Hell I’d probably have a few more old bikes if I had the room and money. Fun hobby and a chance to really make something your own. I also love wrestling these old, heavy, loud, gasoline stinking bikes on the twisty roads. Not half the bike my tracer is but there’s something about a bike that is simple and very mechanical feeling that’s a lot of fun.

  4. Back on track. Working out some scheduling and will be headed down with @FORD late May early June. Most likely hold up at the gap resort, Robbinsville  or Fontana a couple of days. Really like staying in Townsend but want more time to explore South into Georgia.
