  1. Had similar issues years ago with a used zrx I bought. This may not apply to a fuel injected bike though. Carbed bikes are strictly gravity fed.  The vent in the cap was plugged and it locked everything up. Cracking the cap loose let it run just fine. Might be worth a try if your tank isn’t slam full of gas.

  2. 54 hours, 6 states and close to 1600 miles. Good times.

One of these trips I’m gonna have to stay in Georgia and explore a bit.

I left Townsend before daylight Thursday along the creek to make a run through the park when the sun came up. Absolutely worth it. Zero traffic made for the best route on the trip.

  3. Now. About the GT...... damn this is a nice bike. Half my trip today was slab. All the suspension travel soaks up every bit of uneven pavement and floats on the slab. Set the cruise. Kick on the heated grips and seat when you get a chill. In the twisties the suspension keeps everything planted nicely. Even the shitty stock tires. It’s hard to believe how comfy these dirt bike lookin class of touring bikes are. The 900 triple really is an odd duck but in a good way. It spools up nicely and somehow manages to be able to lug around like my Vulcan. One thing I don’t care for is packing the bike. Those bags don’t look all that odd shaped until you start filling them.

And make sure the jacket liner is pretty snug, it doesn't create heated air around you...hit heats you through direct contact.

I’ll check that stuff out. Looks like all the heated gear is a big investment. Been rolling in the cold weather with insulated icon raiden jacket/pants and UA base layer guess an upgrade wouldn’t hurt. At least gloves and jacket liner.

  6. The longer throw on the lever will push the masters piston deeper in the cylinder. Giving a bigger push. Could just be old fluid. Have you changed it before? The slave is probably getting gummed up. If the fluid doesn’t work pop the slave out and clean it up.

Bicycle cable lock, those retractable ones.

    That’s what I was thinking.

I don't run errands with the bike.

10 miles of twisty asphalt with little traffic makes a guy commute whenever possible.

  8. Maybe I’m just another asshole here but I absolutely get it. It ain’t easy to find a group of riders you are comfortable riding with. There are all of two local guys I’m comfortable riding with so most of the time I run solo. I’ve ridden with quite a few of the active riders here and I gotta say for me it was comfortable and I got to learn a few things that I think made me a better rider. Jumped in the pack and was about my normal pace. Nobody was measuring there dick, trying to ride a wheelie next to me down a two lane, riding right up my ass, dick passing slow traffic putting the whole group at risk, wanting to race to the next turn off or stopping every 50 miles. I consider myself a decent rider and can’t imagine how much it sucks for some of you more skilled guys when Johnny jack ass shows up at the meet up. In the past I’ve posted a few rides here and all was well but a few outside this forum were a total cluster. “That’s awfully early, why don’t we go this way, we should stop at these places, I gotta be home by 11:15, where are we? Seriously that shit gets painful.

Took the Voyager to Hundred and back. I had to get around one truck on 250...and then not a car in sight all the way to WV-7. Traffic didn't start to get heavy until I was on 800, north of I-70. Even then... I managed to make it vanish behind me. Such a nice day for a cruise.

Did construction ever get finished in moundsville or do you still gotta detour to 250?

  10. Spent the morning getting lost in morgan and hocking county. Got the GT to first service mileage. 669 between 555 and river road is freshly paved. Had to run it twice. Put down little over 300 miles. This bike might be more fun than a two headed hooker and a salad bowl full of blow. Well maybe....
