I paid $58.50 for 3 races and it was my first time being there.

If I can still make it, I plan on taking back roads the entire trip. @Tpoppa and I rolled that way for the majority of our miles and it was quite a good weekend. The ST3 is even better than the Multistrada, which was a gem of a bike. I can't wait to get out and put a solid 2500 mile weekend on it.

Textile, all the way. Wet leathers are a nuisance.

Buying a GS and then kitting it to ride across the globe is not the same as some doctor buying one and doing the same so he can ride it to work on Friday. Also, the R6 build thread is the way you build a race bike. It's how factory teams build race bikes. It isn't going to be his weekend canyon carver.
All that aside, I made a nice commission off that Ducati buyer, so I wasn't hating. Not that I give a damn what YOU think of me. You ride a Honda.

Never did understand how a company can take something that's kind of innovative put some outrageous price tag on it and then wonder why it doesn't fly.
BMW owners are as bad as Ducati owners when it comes to spending money. I watched a guy buy a $15k bike and then buy $10k worth of accessories for that same bike.

Yes it does. I wish someone would let them know. The BMV has a better website.

Do we want to know how you've come to this realization?
I needed to open mine and didn't have a key. Sorry if this story is anticlimactic.

I can open a Givi trunk with a flat blade screwdriver and not damage it. Not impressed with security, but they hold shit and keep it dry.

Me too, always wanted to try heated grips. But found a pair of Winter motorcycle gloves that actually work. Looks like normal gloves, but got some crazy insulation. Held up for a long long all night ride thru the Virginia/West Virginia mountains in the 35F-40F damp foggy weather. Actually can get too hot and sweaty some days. Back-in-the-day, we'd buy good skiing gloves to use.
Can they still be had? I've a pair of Olympia snow machine gloves, but I couldn't start my bike with them... let alone pick up the damn ignition key.

I am down for Friday but doubt that wife can make it. Her family is coming to our house Saturday and she will probably be cooking.
God help us all!
Where we going?
Same place you guys always go. Nowhere.

My Bible map is simple. If the words aren't red, I ignore them if they don't jive with my values.

Not his fault. He lost his perspective too when they hired him to voice those Speak N' Spell machines.

If God is real, He lies somewhere between all the extra bullshit created by humankind. If God is omniscient, then He is beyond our comprehension and the limitations set in the Bible. It's funny to think a loving God cares who we love, when Jesus said to love everyone..especially those that would harm you.
Faith and Religion are usually mutually exclusive for a reason. One is real. One is make believe. Which one you place where is a personal decision that only you can make. What seems reasonable to you may make zero sense to another. That's why faith should always be a personal thing that isn't swayed by politics or arbitrary rules. When you let someone else dictate how your life should be lived, you've allowed them to smudge your looking glass. That's when you lose perspective of what's important and what's not.
I know loving believers and non-believers. Their commonality isn't faith in a higher power. It's a duty to our fellow man. Sort of like the Sermon on the Mount. America would do well to stop and pause for a moment and reflect upon what's really important. God or no God.
