You will never wear those out if you install and adjust them properly.
Anodized billet is tougher than what came OEM on your bike.
They've spiked my "Blingometer" into the red.
I see zero reasons to not buy them for your street bike.

Don't be jealous, guys. I promise to buy each of you a salted caramel soy latte with extra foam the next time we get together. My treat, since I am soooo rich.

Much appreciated I will check it out
Not going to decide what way to go until it is in there and I work on it a bit. Maybe a lift, maybe a chock or maybe nothing.
A lot depends on how backing in goes.
Painting this thing sucks. Took forever today just to put the first coat on the front trim. Because it was assembled on site paint was an extra 600 bucks. I think that is their 'we don't want to paint it on site price'.
I should have paid it.
That their "you deal with the EPA regulations" price.

Perfect!!! Keeps the damn rodents out of the air box. I'll take a 5 foot rat snake all day long over a mouse.
Do you know how long a mouse has to burrow to find an Goldwing airbox?

I dont think the ArriveCAN app is required for land travel anymore. I have been to Toronto since the COVID regs have laxed and it wasn't necessary.

That looks like a really fun and energizing trip.

My passion for riding was touch and go after my incident. Now that I have worked through my demons I can say it has never been this intense. My safety gear selection has been moved from "good enough" to "full tilt", but this season has been more fulfilling on two wheels than it has ever been. It always feels good to be alive and well enough to enjoy everything motorcycling has to offer. If death wants me, it's gonna need a faster bike.
Nice Beemer. Glad you are amped to ride, again. Keep us updated, Bubba.

The new electronics packages are nice, but in situations like this, I miss being able to bump start my motorcycle.

Glad you're back on the bike, Ben. You said by the end of August and you smoked that deadline. Nice job!

with an official sport touring race exhaust?
That isn't an exhaust. It's a spray can full of hornets tripping on bath salts. It's obnoxious as hell.

What did you do to your bike today?

Installed a new bracket to mount the gps where I don't have to stare at my feet to read it. I also ditched the OEM saddle for a new Sargent. Original would become uncomfortable after 300+ miles. My buddy's RT has a Sargent. I did a 700 mile day in that saddle and never got sore. Hopeful for similar results on my bike.
