Guns are not high on my list, even as a Pro-2A guy. There are more important things to deal with at the moment. If this year has taught me anything, it's that Healthcare and Education in this nation are what's preposterous. Nobody is confiscating 300 million firearms. I have seen our military leaders push back on Trump enough to know they will push back on Biden/Harris, as well. Trump set his tone with the military when he let the most qualified man on the planet walk away from his own cabinet appointment. Irrational 2-A fears and Pro-Life (registered trademark) propaganda take a back seat to issues that matter for the time being. We share this planet with a whole lot of folks that think our military leader is out of his mind with runaway narcissism. He is a 72 year old adolescent in an adult's role. That's the shit that can bring real consequences on a global scale. The most powerful military force this planet has seen in its multi-billion year existence is wielded by Donald J. Trump. Am I THAT out of touch? How is Biden possibly any worse than giving the keys to the DoD hotrod to an obtuse, infantile teenager?

Those grips are tiny and not very comfortable for long rides. I had grip puppies on the Hyper but they were too bulky for my preference. I wanted to increase the grip circumference without negatively impacting my abiltiy to operate the motorcycle. The idea popped into my head the last WV trip I did on the beemer. Those grips are too small, as well. I just got to these grips first. The results are satisfying. The tape is Lizard Skinz and it's 2.5mm thick. The tape is very grippy, but not sticky. They were super comfortable on the trip and I never noticed them until I sat on the bike to take off. 750 miles and not thinking about them says a lot to me. It tells me that fixed my issue perfectly.

Also, wrapped my grips with bicycle bar tape. Definite winner move right there.

Coffee in Buckhannon, WV. 35⁰ is cold, but it's good coffee. 750 miles this weekend, w/ 700 of them 2-lane. The bike took excellent care of us and got 40 mpg doing so. Looooove this engine. Rode all over Appalachia and saw some beautiful country. Home with zero incidents and ready for the next long weekend.

All of my NEO rides originate and end in NEO. They do not stay in NEO.

In the past, the DQ in Bolivar was the meetup spot. This is kind of the beginning of the "good roads" around NEO. It is easy to find and has decent facilities. This will be where I most likely start the ride.
