Throw in the extension I was gonna have ....east from SR93 on SR36 to Newcomerstown and take SR258 south to Tusc. Co. County Rd 3 then hook up with the neat eastern part of 541 from Kimbolton to Kershocton. Or another day perhaps....have fun.....we'll sit on a wall and enjoy our snacks while y'all zip around.

175 miles as mentioned above and ran it at a purposed sloooooow 45mph. So gas stop, stopping to eat and stopping for ice cream ... it took 5 and a half hours. Actually 5 hrs and 10 minutes. At Roscoe Village the group would be 36 to 38 miles from Mt. Vernon.

Love this phone...yeah that' s it...Rodeo...was typed as Roscoe. I get party-line texts with this new technology as well.

Modest pace. Assortment of bikes. Cruisers, scooters, touring bikes even Harleys.

Meeting points. I' ll look thru posts here as I haven' t heard from Cleveland folks. If no northern Yankees are coming I can skip 9AM meet at Speedway gas station. Loudonville folks will just show ip at dealership as will the few I have talked with from Newark. Mansfield people will leave from McD's at Sr13 and Hanley Rd.@ 9:30AM. Trail boss there is Keith. He figures half hour to get to dealership in Mt. Vernon. Some folks are joining up at Danville' s gas stop. No word from Toledo folks.

Fall Tour is on...especially hearing 70's and sunny. Yeah, that'll work for me.

I did the complete loop with one tankful. Folks coming in...Danville is 20 miles from our start point. At Rodeos Village stop....gas station nearby, by Bob Evans. Then there is Wally World just back up SR36. We'll pass it on our way to Roscoe.

Candy...i'll see the Mansfield folks Monday....they will most likely ride down on SR13. Used my report did a no show...dang phone.

Okay another try. 175 miles route. I took 5 and a half hours. Includes a pace at varying slooooow speeds. Stop for gas and eat. I can vary ending loop if we get into a time crunch. Like to have ya done no later than 5pm...tonite i counted 20 some deer, but was running after dusk.

Route is good with great panoramic views. Tree tunnels, creek side and tops of ridges. Route out of Mt Vernon dealership will snake us thru a few city streets. Picking up Lower Gambier Rd and taking it to SR229. THRU Gambier and back roads to Howard. Howard-Danville Rd. Danville can top off gas. SR514north from there to SR520. 520 to Killbuck. Outa Killbuck on county roads to Clark and jump across SR83 onto Holmes Co.'s CR19. CR19 - CR59 - CR600 (No chip and seal on this section Kawi). New Bedford and the rustic porta-john...should ya need ;-p. SR651 all 3 miles of it to Baltic. Thru Baltic onto Pleasant Valley Rd and run it until Crooked Run Rd. Thru Ragersville and staying on Crooked Run until stop sign at old 21...about 20 miles. Left at stop sign to Hot Rod City Restaurant. Manager expecting a group....i will call with numbers when we leave. Seating for 30 or so. www.hotrodcityrestaurant.com. After eating take old 21 south to SR751 and pick up SR36 following it to Coshocton and Roscoe Village. Ice cream or not? Up hill from Roscoe on county road (23 or33) to CR 17. 17 south to SR60. North on SR60 to Warsaw and up Spring Mtn.Rd. from there to Killbuck....for you tourists...CR22 to CR19 to Layland and SR60. SR60 to USR62 at Killbuck. West on USR62 to Danville...gas again? Danville-Amity Rd to SR3 and SR3 south to Mt. Vernon to dealership.

Okay...not from this bd though.

October 7 is a bike nite at Pacemakers Dragway in Mt. Vernon. Test and tune...flyer said 10.00 to spectate and $20.00 for test and tune runs.

Owner of local company will have his Vincent there. Doubt he'll racing it though.

Pacemakers is eighth mile track.

Still on 9th of October a Sunday.

Sorry dealer is Mid-Ohio honda, suzuki, yamaha...484 Harcourt Road, which i believe is also State Route 36. Leaving dealership at 10:30AM.

Folks that i have talked to are doing a partial route. Easily done. We won't be very far from state highways at any given time.

Will run the route this Sunday weather permitting. See what the roads look like since last check.

Checking in. Ride is on barring the JRMMIII Rule....snow or rain and we ain't going.

Meet time is at Mt. Vernon, Harcourt Rd motorcycle dealership (SR36) is 10AM. We will leave at 10:15. Depending on group size...quickest way out of Mt. Vernon getting to SR229. Group size determines back roads.....a half mile string of Goldwings (don’t laff) means mostly SR's. Heading east and north to Danville. Gas top off if needed. North on SR514 to 520. At Killbuck 520 ends and we'll be on county roads heading to Amish Country. New Bedford and east on mostly county roads to New Philly and Hot Rod City to eat. Heading to Coshocton after meal on old 21 and picking up SR751 to SR36 - slab to Roscoe Village...can end ride there....saw go fasts want to plot route home. Otherwise wander back to Warsaw and eventually back to Mt. Vernon...problee come back in on SR229.

Cleveland folks send me a PM. If no one coming in from north i can skip mlbg meet. Northerners let me know please. No confirmed numbers..no one actually yes. Mansfield and points south...some down south will cut out at Roscoe. Fluid ride and departure as works for you.

Latest and greatest. Two attempts Saturday and encountered too many chip and sealed roads. Leaves SRs. I see Fredricktown bridge is done so SR95 is open. Dam road is closed....no that'd be the dam at Mohican....so popped off Mohican Country from Fall Tour. Will keep 514 and 520.

Kawi's notice about CR600...thanks again Kawi. Used CR 12 and missed that prob. Good going on rest of route. Popped off SR258(?) And Tusc Co. Rd. 3...consensus has been too many miles...don't know what you folks thought. So will adjust. Watch for new route to be posted.

Old route for posterity. Mt. Vernon quikest way out of town from dealership. City streets to SR229. Off and thru Gambier and Kenyon campus....backroads to SR36 in Howard. Howard-Danville Rd. to Danville...short jaunt to gas station at corners of USR62, SR514, SR205. North on SR514 to SR520. Cross USR62 to CR 53 (by Sportsmans Club). South on CR to other side of ridge and Coshocton's CR19...taking it to Spring Mtn....and down to Warsaw(CR22). SR36 towards Coshocton and off to pick up CR24. CR24 to CR207(?) and SR 83....83 north to CR12 and to New Bedford....missed the CR600 chip and seal -thanks again Kawi Kid)...SR651 to Baltic and thru square up hill to pick up Pleasant Valley Rd. to Crooked Run Rd. Stop sign at old 21 and left to Hot Rod City restaurant (google it). They don't seem to have service problems with lg groups like Roscoe. After eats..south on old 21 to SR751. ONLY RAN INTO CHIP AND SEAL ON OLD 21. It is survivable just a shirt section. Arriving at SR36 and slab it back to Coshocton and Roscoe Village. Up hill at Roscoe (after frozen custard for dessert).up hill is CR 23 or 33. Follow it to CR17....take 17 to SR60 and right to Warsaw and SR36. Take 36 back towards Coshocton but turn at Riverview High School SR60 north. Arriving at intersection of USR62. Take 62 back to Danville and Danville-Amity Rd. to SR3. SR3 south and back to Mt. Vernon.

Folks decided too long. So use this as a summer run...can throw back in the Newcomerstown 258 loop to 541 and back to Coshocton.

So another loop to be laid in....into Amishland. New owners of Farmstead Restaurant in Berlin...don't know if they are open on Sunday.

Cleveland and other northern folks...you have an option...late sleep and meet group at end of SR520 and USR62 at 11:15am. Sit in pkg lot at club. Took an hour with scooter leading. :-)

Paving SR36....@ least from Millwood to Mt. Vernon....just went 229 to avoid. AppleValley eats...haven't been in since the new sign went up, but pkg lot is always full. Little eatery in Danville closed (cafe 505?).

Thanks Kawi. It'd be just a touch of 600.....makes me think of cr 10 & 12 now. Ha! At dealership now waiting on meet.....i think the harley guy will be here on the 9th. They're headed out for a Mohican as I type.

Doing a check out ride today 9/17. Leave mc dealer 10:15am. Heading to Mohican area and using county roads mostly. Will do SRs as connectors. Mohican back to Danville and top off gas. SR514 N to SR 520. From Killbuck CR 35 to CR150 to CR 19. No the other one...to CR 59? Amish Country to cr 600 and New Bedford to SR651 and Baltic....from there Crooked Run to old SR21. Eat at Hot Rod City....then follow old 21 south to SR751. Slab a bit on SR36 to SR258? And grab CR 3 in Tusc co. To Guernsey and link up with SR541 east section...the fun one....to Roscoe for dessert. CR outa Roscoe to SR60 between Tunnel Hill and Warsaw....then? Watching time at this point...if okay...541 to Big Jug Rd and snake to covered bridge. Brings us out at SR586 and near SR79....can close loop back to Mt. Vernon or send everyone

on their merry way...SR79 or 586 to USR62 at Martinsburg....the northern yankees....we can toss it up as to way back .... OR turn to Warsaw and poke around the CR 22 and the Coshocton CR19... dunno...today i'll see. No definitive numbers. PM or just log on.

Life is dynamic! The Annual Fall Leaf Tour will be...Sunday, Oct. 9th. Times to meet still good. Mlbg. 9 AM at Speedway and swing west to & @ Mt. Vernon mc dealer by 10AM. This has become the do or die date...JRMMIII's cold weather thought.....not so much as rain or snow presenting prob.... It will be a great Fall day, right?

So there it is. Adjust yer calendar from there. Stuff occurs as they say.

Rough route...leave Mt. Vernon...catch Mohican area thread back into Amish world, but using SR514 & SR520, just too nice to ignore....end up in Tusc and drop to Roscoe.

Looks like report ins from other forums...Pittsburgh..but will think about camping...3 hrs in to ride and 3 hrs back to Steelerville. Guy from England...this will be a hoot...."I can work a clutch". So leisurely pace....UP..ya wanna walk along side this guy and give him pointers...i'll put him on GSF.

Rethink on meet spot...Columbus riders move to meeting at Mt. Vernon cycle dealer. Give a thrill all them bikes wheeling in....time is flexible...10am meet time there as more central? Kool. Pioneer restaurant or goodwill across the street in Utica an easy meet spot for Columbus folks. In on 62 or up from on 13.

Could be the 5th. Will be doing the Annual Leaf Tour in my area. Prolee 300 miles. Will be running area and surrounding counties. Using mostly county roads with state rts as connectors. Mohican & Amish land, but utilizing Kershocton, Tusc...maybe Knox and Licking...set for October 1st with rain date of Oct. 8th for back up. Anytime later and it would be the 'Fallen Leaf Tour'.....will be an eccectic mix of machines...even scooters. Two ups welcome and expect photo stops for the scenic vistas....especially if the beemer boys show up. I am figuring a food stop so bring money for food as well as gas.

Meeting spots will be arranged dependent on who is coming in. Like Utica or Mt. Vernon for Columbus and beyond folks.

If interested lemme know. Will pick out ridges to ride so y'all can see the colors...but I will do my valley/river runs too. Not gravel roads...unless there is a washout they patched.

PS. Whit's has opened another frozen custard stand in Coshocton....so choice of soft frozen custard in Frontier Elec bldg or good ole Roscoe Village and hand dipped.
