Stopping in ..offline mostly so rare to net now. Popped in to ask for pics etc from CSBA ride from last summer ... ride 2. I was talking with homeowner last nite where Rick checked out the plantings....he said no ice cream bars have made it to his place. So I wanted to throw together a lil dvd for him of the shortened outing. He gets lots of action on his corner on 541. PM me on clips and how to get stuff to me. I have some bids and pics, but not enough to warrant burning a disc. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
BBQ list add on...wife got a squirrel and add another bird for the Bird.
PMs alert me on incoming right mr. Administrator?

Hey! I found one of them lil' 50cc versions, a 2007 for $1250.00. So it'd be closer to yer $ thought as mine is GONE! Snooze ya lose!
-
Iz dat a Blackbird?
-
Hi guys...low ball $ would work if it was the lil' 50cc version. This is the 125 cc (124 something actually) NADA was ave. value @ $1700. Y'all send me an offer....one from Columbus already been here and looked...he's thinking.
Sorry - I've been away from internet, only now getting back. PM me.
Sorry too, year for the Vino is 2008, fergot dat!
-
Yup, only mine was a streaking, ghostly shape in the dark (midnite-ish) and I clipped it! It was bigger than Kawi's deer though...he, he. Parts is on the bike and have been out and about...However the decals came in today. Honda, puts the stickers on their plastic...not so Suzuki!
-
For Sale: Momma has moved up to a touring scoot. Y'all need a pit bike? Maybe just a little thing to zip around town? NADA lists current value at $1700 average. This has 3192 miles on it right now...oil changed every thousand miles...yep - that's right.
Give me a holler...in scenic Holmes County.
Oh yeah...sans the lil' Vino script...liked it better all black!

SR715 (Mohawk Dam) the chip and seal has packed down in the cager wheel spots, but the gravel is still loose in the center section. SR93 south from Baltic to SR36 has terrible ruts (some sort of patchwork that left the ridge/gully) that grabs yer front tire and show ya a good time! SR93 north from Baltic is all new pavement!

Okay another almost. but no hit, BUT warrants a mention. I think it was a hawk, it appeared outa no where and did an amazing tumbling kinda flight maneuver just off my left knee, left mirror area...didn't hear a thunk and saw nuthin' on the road. It had a white underbelly and dappled gray topside.
However, I did hear the... thunk, whap or whatever sound you may wish to use....for the deer! Yup, besting Kawi Kid, with a little bugger, not polka dotted like Kawi's - bigger, but not full size.....I'm so competitive...my deer was bigger! Nah, nah, nah, nah nah. Amazingly no go down, just a glancing hit (I guess it was glancing) on the rump....as I saw in the darkness the part behind the rib cage just in front of the hind leg and grimaced for the hit....Whack and it was gone. Deer and side fairing and immediately darker out there.
So pricing the pcs, headlight, nose cone, right fairing and some sort of inner panel. My short mc experience has learned me, Yamaha [arts cheapest, the Suzuke seems to be coming in just a bit more and the Honda, well, I think a used bike woulda been cheaper!

I use the kid's old hockey equipment, except for the stick, and the mask. I haven't quite figured out how to get the mask to work under the helmet!
-
I know I said no almosts, but popped over a rise on CR19, no the other one! And OH!Scheetz! A tanker truck sitting sideways across the road...whoa..Kawi, where did ya learn to manuever a truck?
Last nite, I saw a dead weasel, but it coulda actually been a mink!!! Maybe this dead animal stuff can pay a bit back.....how much for a mink pelt?
-
Howdy JRMiii - Nice topic... uh, my first bike, what two summers ago? Was/is the Honda Blackbird...dealers just wouldn't deal on the Hayabusa, so bought this Bird for what I had intended as a down payment on the new Busa.

when the finally resurface bad pavement and shortly after it becomes a nice surface....the State decides that it is now to close the road and put in culverts? SR520 closed. So much for the nice pavement.
Why is it number 2...that the new pavement job on SR62 outside of Killbuck, feels like you are running a jackhammer, instead of riding the bike? No smooth paving award for this outfit I would guess.
and... I'm back.
