  1. We have a 25' outdoor storage lot parking area off of Taylor Road in Reynoldsburg where we keep our boat. This is at a business and they only charge us around $23/month. We're moving soon to a place where we'll have plenty of room to store the boat and won't be needing the lot any further. There is a large backlog of requests for spots, but we can hand over ours to someone else and they can renew the monthly lease. We're currently paid through January. If someone is looking for a nice spot for outdoor storage at a great price, let me know. We're moving the boat next week and if we don't have any takers, we'll relinquish our spot back to the "list".
  2. Good luck with the non-EGR LS1 version. You'd be better off with the EGR version and block the port off with a freeze plug.
  3. No, not correctly anyway. If there were, I'd have bought it by now.
  4. Thanks Jeff. Ryan, putting DD-WRT on the router was the suck. Got it going, but Linksys no longer offers v8 firmware and it took me an hour of digging to find v8.00.8, which is the earliest version compatible with DD-WRT. The router had v8.00.2 :fuuuu:
  5. Black counter top type, cheap (under $20), it works, it doesn't need a bath. We're moving soon and the contract says the buyer gets a microwave. They can't have mine. Thanks!
  6. Ryan, thanks for the info. She's psychotic, chases the dogs, and fit it fantastic around here. She's getting parts yanked on Wednesday Jeff, thanks for holding the router.
  7. Jeff, I'm interested in that router since Ryan says it makes a great access point. Shoot me a PM and we'll figure something out. Thanks.
  8. Andy at ARS was very professional and very timely, we had our report at 230am the following morning. He walked me through everything, knew all the VA stuff needed for the Seller to remedy, and took care of the well and septic.

  10. No. Gabe and I personally spoke several times and each time I agreed to let him back on since he would tone things down a bit. He didn't, and he's the reason other people get ONE chance, like AJ. Trolling is all good and fun, but when you start repeatedly attacking people on a personal level, that's where the line is. No Gabe.
  11. Good to know, Brad. Pat and I spoke again last night, he's definitely one of the good guys.
  12. Grant, then quit fucking texting him shit in real life when he repeatedly asks you not to, and he won't have to flex his muscle on here as his only defense. Seriously. Not everyone sees everything the same, trust me on this. I like both of you and am friends with you two in real life, but would like to see shit dealt with.
  13. I think of you are taking this way too seriously, seriously. Come on. Seriously?
  14. Sure Ben, take your car to him and lemme know how that works out for you
  15. Free Gabe will get you banned. If that fucker, who I'm cool with in real life, turned down his bullshit trolling down a notch, he'd be let back on. Problem is, he burned me a couple times promising he would.

    HVAC Tech

As part of the inspection for selling my house, the buyer wanted an inspection and maintenance done on the furnace and the AC system checked. I searched on here (non-car related, sorry!) and keep seeing Pat Volpe recommended. I called him yesterday and he came out tonight to go completely through both systems. I am completely amazed by his professionalism and demeanor, this is a guy after my own heart as a Field Service Tech. I definitely recommend him for any HVAC work, he's a great guy. I'm keeping him in my phone for any future needs, I'm that impressed. Pat Volpe 614-288-4111 Posting this for the next time someone searches this forum for HVAC work.
  17. Phil can come back if he contacts me and apologizes. Seriously. I'm usually pretty thick-skinned, but the shit he said about me really put in the mood to drive back from Georgia and have a word or two with him. Him and I use to be really close, it I still smart from that last interaction. Back to the regular broadcast.
  18. Sorry Andy, I don't have too many calls that way any more and Tamarack Farms is another story. But, it looks like I'm moving closer to you soon
  19. I fucking love Quaker City. I'd love to go if I weren't closing on two houses and planning moving.
  20. He's buying dinner for all of us tomorrow night or ban.
  21. I come home from a round trip to Elyria to find a wife who is very pissed off. Yay. What WAS CR in 2001? It was a place where the members of COFBA and Columbus DSM could plan places to meet and street race. Period. Instead of trolling each other's forums continually (which turned into some great threads, BTW), CR was created since 99% of us did not have a cell phone or other way to contact one another other than the internet. Between us, friends of friends, etc, CR grew enormously and very quickly as there wasn't anything else like it representing what would eventually become the 15th largest city in the country, and largest city in Ohio. That was 14 years ago. I daily drove an LT1 Camaro, had dark brown hair, had one child, lived in an apartment, and didn't have a fucking clue what I wanted out of life. The WTC had planes flown into them a couple months before, the internet was serious business, as mentioned above, most of us didn't have cell phones, and forums were the way to go. So what changed? The world. Technology. You name it. Hell, the LS1 was fucking king of the streets, 11s were insanely fast for a street car, and now we have factory Hondas making 300hp, and 10-second production cars that are as comfortable to drive as they are fast. I now have gray hair, BTW What hasn't changed is the core members and their personas of what makes CR, CR. Sure, we don't have all the same people around, people come, people go. We've had members go to prison, had them die, leave the hobby, you name it. Yet, here we still are, in some way or another. Are we going to change who we are? No. Will we adapt? Probably. But CR is here for those that want to hang out, cars or not, and have friends that can have a common interest. I could literally write a novel on my feelings, but I'll leave this here and people can take it as they please.
  22. Hell, it never was to begin with. It's always been a "fun" site until the majority of us got old and responsible.
  23. Its. A. Honda. Minivan. That's not a whip, it's more like a kite string.
