Correct, the WS6 was not offered in BGC for any year, the Firehawk either. These cars are very solid as long as they've had regular maintenance and someone cared for them. This one is no exception, it really doesn't need much. Hell, even beat to shit ones are fairly reliable and fun. As for having the same type of car, I don't have a problem with that, obviously. I know them inside and out, feel very comfortable with them, and love their style. Why "try" something else if I know what I want?

Thanks everyone. You read about people that 40 years later, have several rare "insert car here" stories. I wanted something unique yet again. My Formula is 1 of 124 in BGC, my TA is 1 of 125 in BGC. Similar cars, yet not the same Gary, this one came with a couple of things already, so it wouldn't be a fair fight

Yes, it does. Why? Because this is MY car, something in addition to the one I've owned for 13 years. The other cars belonged to Tina, I just did the shit to them.

First off, I'd like to thank Jordan at Jet Auto Group for coming through and finding me another unique LS1 F-Body. This one happens to be a slightly newer Trans Am variant of my Blue-Green Chameleon Formula. I'd also like to thank Tina for buying this for me not only for my birthday, but so I would leave the Formula alone as I wanted to do a turbo and now I can have both Anyways, it's a 2000 Trans Am w/ 86k miles and has a few mods, which will be going next year. It's an auto, which is better for me considering my body as I get older, the back issues, etc, and the fact I want something I can just hop in and go. No cage, 500rwhp, and just being able to cruise are my goals. Good thing I put mine on more than a decade ago then Back in the day, LTs were insanely expensive and Macs were about the only way to go.

They suck and sound really funny

"Taking offers" and "$15k worth of upgrades" means they have a price in mind of way too much. I personally wouldn't go more than $10000 due to the lower mileage but it's an auto. But no, not my car. There's plenty more out there that can be had cheaper, but with similar options and such.

I have an opportunity to set something up with Pacemakers for a CR track rental. I need to know what kind of interest there is before I discuss further details with them. For those that don't know, this is a very laid back track near Mount Vernon with fantastic track prep, but it's only 1/8 mile.

Thanks to everyone that came out, and a special thanks to a few of you that literally made this event attendance jump in the last few days. You know who you are and it's appreciated. I apologize I wasn't present for this one, although Tina was nice enough to bust her ass yesterday on my car for twelve hours then drive it out today (Z06 wheels to boot!). Some of you know I've been through quite a bit recently and physically/mentally I have some catching up to do. Unfortunately, this will be the last NTR private event for the year due to some insurance coverage requirements by the NHRA, but we'll have at least a spring event there for the coming years. We've been working behind the scenes on additional venues and have tentatively lined up a co-op event with Norwalk and a private CR event at the new Dragway 42 for 2015. We'll keep everyone updated.
