We had 275's on Mark's for testing at Norwalk and I know I heard Patrick say that one of their clients went 202mph on a 275 but nobody has ever gone 6's. Pretty sure we were on the 275's when it cut a 1.19 60-ft and we had our best 1/8th-mile as well. Congrats Ray! Jeff

I have a 50-150/2.8 non-os that you can borrow if you want. It is tiny compared to the 70-200's (Which is why I originally bought it). Jeff Edit: Skip the super-zooms IMO. Get a 18-50/2.8 to go with the 50-150/2.8 and if you want a Tele get a 300/4

Correct. Coughlin is handling the warranty side of things so they would have to answer what they are or aren't covering in that regard. My impression (And I could be completely wrong) was that if it was a local sale they were going to warranty it like it was a stock car. Jeff
-
That is because it was a used car. A buyer rightfully has a huge "Peace-of-Mind" concern when buying a modified used car without a warranty because even done right things are prone to break / fail much faster. Added to that, most people correctly assume that if the car was modified it was done so for a reason (Not to drive to Church on Sunday's and just cruise to shows). More power + more use of that power typically means MUCH worse reliability. Shops pre-modding new cars is nothing new. Coughlin sells SLP Camaros that come with various HP Packages, Gill (I think) sells Callaway cars just like Mentor Mitsu did with EVO's that Buschur modded. Jeff

Speaking of which, we will have Mark's car and a 1000rwhp TT Camaro out there tomorrow for the car show if anyone wants to come out and say hi. Should have a great turn-out if the weather stays nice. Jeff
-
If it was mine and the goal wasn't to go any faster or make more HP than stock (Or more than a few bolt-on's will allow) I would do something like this: http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=4337&Car_Type=300&UID=2012082212185750.13.115.71

Not necessarily Nissan/Dealer new but let me see what I can find and I will have Erik shoot you a PM. Or, you can certainly have him call us directly and we can go over his options. Jeff

I personally would never have someone rebuild a turbo for a 300ZX that I wasn't 1000% confident in (Meaning no one) since if something isn't right that engine is coming right back out to repair/replace. A Civic or DSM or EVO 8/9 might be worth the risk since the turbo is easily accessible but on a 3/S or Z or S4 (Essentially any Twin V6 or V8 car) I would never risk it. Just my 2-cents... Jeff
-
I will see what I can find. I hadn't really taken any since we moved in since there really wasn't much of anything to take pics of. Jeff

We just installed it last week (Thanks to Brandon, Mike I., and Jared from IPS with the help of family) but we already bought a door that we plan to install coming out of the 3rd-car garage out onto the patio so the walk will be VERY short. Jeff

It may not look like it in some of the pics (Like this one lol): http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7115/7653817626_d660c3e621_c.jpg But I think the only thing that Brian can't "Fix" is dump-trucks driving through your yard in terms of yard / grass treatments. If i hadn't spent my "Irrigation" budget on the Pergola's / Patio / Landscaping he would have my yard looking amazing right now. Even as it is it is 100% better than it was just 6-8 months ago and he is another great assest here on CR http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8284/7653794738_d47585a08d_c.jpg

Anthony and Dustin came out to do a retaining wall for me on the back of my house: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8167/7653786844_198e9f08eb_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8431/7653788394_a7fdc16f75_c.jpg They knocked it out quick in the 100-degree heat and did a great job so we had them back out to do the retaining walls for the patio. This is the back-side wall that the concrete mated-up to: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7127/7653784478_5eec33d7ae_c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7248/7653812108_afcc300cc2_c.jpg And then the side wall Anthony came up with a great idea / design to plant a few junipers and day-lillies: http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7115/7653817626_d660c3e621_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8003/7653821862_b677cccb40_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8142/7653819622_e0b11020a2_c.jpg While they were out. they also did a smaller retaining wall on the front of the house: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8289/7653779712_673e0febd1_c.jpg And then planted a ton of various trees, bushes, grasses, etc etc while doing all the top-soil, mulching, edging, etc etc: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8431/7653808390_2644bd9cac_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8429/7653792324_b9f73b0d7d_c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7124/7653804502_59c1053ba4_c.jpg They had to deal with crazy heat, and then a ton of rain (Which = mud) and ticks and the fact that I hadn't really budgeted for anything but the first retaining wall lol and did an INCREDIBLE job. Don't hesitate to give Anthony a call and bounce ideas off him as he was as good at coming up with a design and ideas as anyone we talked to. Great work and great pricing Jeff

Not that it's much of a secret but Sam and his dad do great work at a great price. We have had them do a few things at the shop over the years but this go-around was at my house. What started out as a 10x10' pad for a hot-tub turned into a 22x20' stamped patio. Sam got it knocked out in 2 days and we couldn't be happier: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8007/7653802618_0721e59533_c.jpg http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7248/7653812108_afcc300cc2_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8015/7653800892_9d3a085d78_c.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8289/7653776928_414d290cef_c.jpg If you are thinking about doing pavers (Like we were) give Sam a call and he will save you quite a few bucks and do a great job! I haven't forgot about you It's rare that I "Need" the camera through the work-week so I keep forgetting to bring it home and get the pics of both the patio and landscaping. I will do that tonight for sure Jeff
-
Looks great Andy! I keep forgetting to bring the camera home or I would have started my own Sam-love thread earlier in the week. Will post up pics this evening of the patio he just did for me Jeff

I did but the bucket I sat there keeps filling up Jeff

Pump and heater are on the opposite side so I am *Hoping* it is a line / connection / etc. Jeff Thanks for the "Leads" everyone
-
Anybody on here do it or know anybody that does? Pump and heater and all is fine -- it just has a leak that needs fixed. TIA, Jeff

Might as well start tossing a few in here No picture here is edited in any way -- no cropping / processing / nothing. Whatever the camera spit out is what is posted. Compiliation Vid of our Norwalk Track Day (Street / Race cars)
Turbotrio replied to Turbotrio's topic in Pics and Vids
He kept it on lower boost (16-18 IIRC) and it went 10.5-6 most of the day. Jeff
