Don't know the pricing off the top of my head but we get them in often. Ill PM you a price this afternoon Jeff
-
I might be able to have one of my guys do it for you. It isn't something I would do here but I still might be able to arrange it for you. We have Z06's showing up from every corner of the US this week so I have about 10 cars too many right now but give me a call and I will see if I can hook you up with something. Jeff

I didn't see it mentioned but do they say what they got the weight down to at all? With the V8 models being damn-close to 4000Lb's trimming 500+ Lbs somehow would do wonders for handling/performance. Jeff
-
To answer quickly -- yes, yes, and obviously no. And yes for all being AWD. Jeff

My Mitsubishi discount is 26% off so if you need anything PM me or call me at the shop: 614-444-5884 Jeff

Talked to Brian on the phone to make sure this isn't getting all twisted and turned as usual and we are good. Post away... Jeff -

One correction and I am done with all of this. I simply asked if Brian knew what an AWD TBSS dynoed stock as I was under the impression that had he known they did what they do he most likely wouldn't have started a thread talking about a tune he did making a 7-10HP gain. That is it. What am I calling BS on? That it is not possible to only make that much of a gain? LOL. I apologize for questioning the reasoning behind something that is posted on a web-forum. Jeff -

You are missing the fact that is is a LS2. It makes no difference if its in a Trailblazer, a C6, a GTO, or a freakin RX8. Eric can street-tune that same truck (But RWD so my example will make sense to you) and we can send it over to Brian's (Or anywhere for that matter) to Dyno and the A/F will be 110% dead-on what it is commanded and the timing wont need to be touched. Now, on some vehicles could you *Maybe* add another degree or two of timing if it was on a dyno and you had a WB to know you were safe? Sure, but even without doing so there are no excuses necessary. This is why I can send that same tune to some guy in Florida and have it run the same and make the same power as it would here. Get it? -

If its a friend you are helping out for free this is true. If it is a paying customer, then it is not true at all. If I do a heads/cam on a C6 and the customer only makes a 20whp gain do I tell him: "You gained something, what is the problem?" If the excuse is you can not properly tune "XYZ" on the street w/o a WB sensor/gauge (Which is not the case with any bolt-on LSx vehicle) then you shouldn't tune "XYZ". Just my 2 cents... Jeff -

So if I post that we just made 7rwhp with a tune and Intake on a C6Z here I should expect to be congratulated and told what a great tuner Eric is? LOL. I would honestly expect to have half the replies asking what the hell was wrong and the other half asking why on earth I posted it in the first place. Call me crazy... Jeff -

Just so there is no bias, K&N's numbers are pretty close to what we typically see in terms of wheel-HP with just an intake added: http://www.kandn.com/dynocharts/57-3061_dyno.pdf -

Since this TBSS is AWD I can only assume we tune/dyno quite a few more of this particular truck than you do (Since our dyno is AWD) but have you seen stock TBSS AWD numbers before? Typical bone-stock #s are 290-293awhp on our dyno (Sam's was like 293 IIRC). Lowest number I could find looking at 10 different charts was 288.2awhp in the heat of the summer (Temp was over 100 degrees). That being the case, you feel it is "Good" to pick up 7-10 HP with an intake AND a tune? Not meant to be a jab but if making 7 HP is "Post-worthy" on here (And even gets you compliments) Eric is certainly missing the boat since Brandon only ever talks about something if it makes more than 700whp lol. OMG -- I had that kids POS 300ZX in the shop a few years back. He kept having parts for it sent used from all over the place and then when the car was done and gone he got his money back from Paypal saying he never got the parts or they were damaged or whatever. I had his address at the time and passed that along to all the people that called back then (Who were all very pissed and thought I had something to do with it). Crazy that it is the same dumb-ass kid. I had heard from multiple sources he went on a scamming-spree after that on about every forum on earth. Congrats on finally nabbing his ass. I am sure there is wayyyy more than 500 that will join the band-wagon Jeff

I actually left you a message earlier so give me a call back when you get the chance. I had 3/4 of what you were looking for in stock so that helps speed things up a bit Jeff EDIT: Nevermind, talking to you now
-
From what Mike told me about it that diagnosis sounds dead-on. We have seen a few now do the exact same thing -- most on 150+ shot of nitrous and pump gas. Jeff
-
Mike (My brother) was back early -- one pass and done lol. Jeff

Sorry I was so tied up when you stopped by -- I didn't even realize that was you lol. I apologize for not really being able to talk much. Stop by some time if you are ever in the area Jeff

As usual you missed the point entirely. Its kinda like 10 years ago (It seems) I always thought Shep's street-driven, and "Stock appearing" Talon was 1000% more impressive than Buschur's RWD tube car even though it was obviously slower. One was a dedicated race car and one I could picture myself driving on the weekends if I wanted to. Nice try though Jeff -

A non-Z makes it even cheaper A base '97 C5 is an easy car to justify "Cutting Up" to make a drag car out of even compared to a C5Z -- let alone a C6Z. Jeff -
