For comparison we just did a stock-ish (Might have had a couple bolt-ons) '08 SS that put down right around 315fwhp a couple days ago. Jeff

If you are referring to my 3000GT (Which hasn't moved in well over a year) then I would lose that same bet all day long. Difference is I realize this and could care less. I only own the car at this point because it still makes me a lot of money Jeff
-
Just race him best of 10 for any amount of money -- you will do just fine
-
That is exactly why he bought it. It was such a limited edition his plan was for it to be the garage queen and he wanted to "Daily" the Z06. As it turns out he went so crazy with the Vette that the roles got reversed a bit lol. Jeff

What about a GTE? Stock or Built? Want a CNC ported GTE Head? Let me know, Jeff
-
Of course you decide to show up when I am not around lol. How's it giong Joe? Haven't seen you in forever (Mike's wedding?) so stop down again sometime even if you just want to BS or whatever. Get Mike to bring the CTS-V down for a base-line dyno or something. I guess Eric took care of you then (Must have been the gasket he was calling me about at Kilkare) so glad we had what you needed Jeff

Just wanted to know if there were any local (Columbus / Ohio) Mustang or Ford car shows or "Gatherings" coming up? We plan on taking the GT500 out to as many that will fit our schedule once we have our mods on it completed . I figured I would start making a list of the possible options now so we can make it to a few. Thanks in advance! Jeff

I am of the opinion that there are very few bad locations. That is why 100% of the pics I take of customer cars are within 10 minutes (And most are more like 2 minutes) from the shop. I went with Hua once to take pics of a customers 300ZX and asked him where we were going since the sun was just going down and we didn't have a lot of time to go to a "Good" location. He just laughed and said he would look around and tell me to pull over when he saw something that might work. We didn't even drive 100 yards and we turned into a place with a lot of dump-trucks and machinery and parked the car and he started shooting. I had driven by the place 1000 times and never would have thought about it as a background but the pics turned out amazing. I will post up a couple tomorrow I do virtually nothing with Photoshop so the pics I post don't look "Professional" but I do much better now with picking out locations that just kind of "Work" without driving all over the place to find them. Me too Where I took the majority of the pics on Mark's site is one of my fav's: http://www.carlyleracing.com

Yep, we will have both cars until next March when he is able to come back again for a few weeks He figured we could put them to good use at shows and such instead of just having them sit in a garage back in TX. Plus, we will be able to do little things he wants done as he gets bored over there and thinks of more things he would like done He thought he could get mid/low 11s out of the Super-Snake but it just spun the entire time. The CCW Drag-pack and much stickier tires should solve most of that problem. The headers and pulley and tune and other misc add-ons won't hurt either. Jeff
-
With the HRE's / Michelin's on the car he could easily drive it back to Texas if he wanted to Jeff

Here are few track pictures of our customers black C6Z and GT500 "Super Snake" from Kilkare on Thursday/Saturday. Some of them didn't turn out half-bad so I figured I would toss a few up. If you didn't see it in the other thread the Z06 ran 9.7 @ 143 and the GT500 spun to a 12.5 @ 119 I think. Since we will have both cars until next year I am sure you will be seeing them at many local shows/events this summer http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/ChrisTrackResize1.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/ChrisTrackResize3.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/ChrisTrackResize4.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/ChrisTrackResize6.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/ChrisTrackResize8.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/ChrisTrackResize9.jpg

Because the Mustang is more his "Street" car (He drove it 18+ hours from TX) and he doesn't want slicks on either one. We had a window of 3 hours to find a 20" DR in Columbus and I was surprised the Nitto's were even available in that size to be honest. He loves the look of the CCW's on the Z06 and how much better the M&H's hooked so that is what he wants. Regardless, it should be quite a bit quicker with everything we have planned for it in the near future Jeff
-
Finding DR's in 20" with a window of a couple hours left no other option. Jeff EDIT: We are ordering the CCW drag-pack for the car next week with MUCH better rubber
-
Yes we do That pass was a 1.41 60-ft so not too shabby for his 4th pass in the car ever. He wanted to launch it "Much Harder" on the next pass and killed the tranny lol. I think he is going to stick to rolling it out and cutting low 1.4's from now on. Hua took footage both Thursday night and today (Plus dyno vids from a couple weeks ago) and will be putting something cool together for us Jeff
-
9.7 @ 143 its first pass
-
We put 20" Nitto DR's on so we shall see! Jeff

We are heading back down today with the Z06 and GT500 since the weather looks good. Hopefully if the prep is better we will be able to get a solid 9-second pass out of the vette. Wish us luck! Jeff
