  1. We couldn't get anything to work at the shop on Friday so I brought the vids home and made one Friday night. Got it all done and then it wouldn't play? I have never done anything with Movie Maker before so I am sure I did something wrong (Or didn't do one last step) but I will post up mine tomorrow if I can get it figured out. Mine had all the passes of both Z06's on it so it was a bit longer. Jeff
  2. Anyone notice Troy won 65-0 nothing yesterday and that OU lost... Yikes. Wonder if we will be more than 3-pt favorites (Just because it is a home game) next week? Jeff
  3. Sure did We didn't manufacture the fuel-pressure regulator that failed, but we most certainly built the car. Jeff
  4. Final update: Buschur's EVO went 9.1 @ 155 (FLYING!!) Cavin had to lift his first pass and the second he blew-off an FMIC pipe and damaged it enough to where they couldn't get it to seal at the track so that was it. Jamie had to swap over to DR's on the Supra and being extremely traction limited it went low 10s @ 155ish. Jason & Mark packed it up for the day and with any luck both will be ready to go on Saturday Jeff
  5. Go count how many Auto-swapped C6Zs there are running around before you say all we did was bolt parts on There are at least three parts on the car that are official "IPS" products that were developed here and a flat-out necessity to make the set-ups work. Ask Mark or Jason privately, we have reverse-engineered so much of the APS kits they call them IPS kits lol. I posted the link to reference the car. Yes the car made great power and for $288K it certainly should have. The one-off top-mount turbo set-up uses quite a bit larger turbos which equals more power. Not hard to follow. Mark & Jasons cars are strictly limited by turbo right now, not engine or tuning or anything else. If they care to make more it is a very easy thing to swap out the existing GT35R's with the new billet versions if they really care or think they need more. If the time comes to where they decide to run the mile and they "Only" go 223 or 220mph or whatever to LPE's 226 then please talk all the shit you want. Until then, you are getting all excited over absolutely nothing (Like usual). Jeff
  6. Comparing IPS to LPE is idiotic so thanks for demonstating that lol. I compared Jason's trap-speed to the previous record-holder -- plain and simple. Whether the car was a MTI car or a Vette Doctors car or a Katech car or Pratt & Miller car is completely irrelevant. We didn't even know the LPE car had trapped 158 until two weeks ago when a guy on CF that drove the car posted up a slip. When Mark went 9.66 we did quite a bit of surfing to see what the current fastest C6Z was before claiming anything and couldn't find a thing. When I posted on here that it was, I reference the "Quick List" on Corvette Forum and compared his time to the previous record holder which I believe was a 9.9 but he wasn't affiliated with any particular shop. With that confirmed we were also told his 150.66 was the highest trap until the LPE driver posted up a slip. Now Jason has both If this bothers you so much call up LPE and tell them to get a car (Not the yellow car on the site since it was built to run the mile) and beat us lol Jeff
  7. Buschur just went 9.3x @ 155 in their EVO and Jamie made his first pass in the Supra and had to lift. Brandon said it was all over the place so hopefully he manages to get a clean pass in today Jeff
  8. 9:1 so plenty of room. The question is how high the 35Rs will continue to go (In terms of boost) w/o modification. Jeff
  9. Jason has been running 14psi most of the day so its got more left in it for sure. For reference it dynoed 1049rwhp on 16psi Jeff
  10. I will have some other updates later as Jamie is supposed to have both his C6Z and the Supra there, and we got Cavin's Supra finished up yesterday so he is there as well. I think Brandon said Buschur had his white EVO there too. Quite a few fast cars and they couldn't have picked a nicer day. Jeff
  11. Jason's first pass of the day was a 9.98 @ 159 with a very soft "Launch" netting a 1.98 60-ft. Mark went 10.0 @ 150 on less boost his first pass. That trap speed bests the previous record that LPE set with its $288K one-off TT C6Z that trapped 158mph. That car can be seen here: http://www.lingenfelter.com/Lingenfelter2006ZO6TTBGB.htm EDIT: Brandon just called and Jason just went 9.46 @ 156 to best Mark's previous world record 9.66 pass His launch was better with a 1.65 60-Ft while Mark's best thus far has been a 1.53 on the M&H DR's. Finally got some cooler air and the cars are FLYING !! To those that said the cars would never see 160mph you might want to reconsider lol. Jeff
  12. I think you are crazy. Our O-line couldn't block against YSU or OU. We had what? Three or four field-goals against Youngstown State and how many 3-and-outs against OU?? They couldn't even make a 4th-and-one against a strictly average MAC school. Boeckman isn't scaring anyone with his passing so if we can't run it is going to be over before it starts. I think (Hope) the defense just had a very "Off" game against OU but they won't stop USC from scoring the whole game. Playing well and "Only" giving up 2x points won't do any good if we can only score 7-14. Jeff
  13. They just said on the radio this morning he still didn't practice at all yesterday. If he does play my hunch is he will be half-speed at best and a non-factor. Maybe they are just playing it up (The extent of the injury) but for some reason I doubt it. Jeff
  14. Trust me, I wouldn't either which was the point of the question. I am as big an OSU fan as there is but there is a huge difference between WANTING them to win Vs being confident / THINKING they are going to win. I don't bet on sports ever but if I had to bet $1000 of my own money I couldn't take OSU and 10 points -- not after last week. To be honest, to feel good about it, I think I would need 17-21 minimally. I just started this to see if everyone else was as pessimistic as I am lol. Jeff
  15. Never having driven a GTR I can't say for sure, but on paper I would rather have a Z06 as well. Looking at the two cars sitting side-by-side it is amazing how much BIGGER the GTR is. The car is freaking huge in comparison to the Z06. Here are some pics: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=2092668 I can see it getting quite a few more "Looks" than a vette (Which is about the only reason I would rather have a Viper than a Z06) but that isn't enough to buy one IMO. The biggest thing keeping me from getting overly interested in them is the yet un-tested drivetrain. Jeff
  16. Would you need to bet $1000 of your hard-earned money on OSU this week Vs USC? I don't bet on sports (I think I would go crazy watching games if I did lol) so this is a complete hypothetical question. I was joking with someone today about how many I would need and am curious what most people would say. On a side-note I am really curious to see what the boys in Vegas do with the actual spread in a couple days. Jeff
  17. Nissan rates them at 480HP but it is more likely in the 510-520ish range. Quarter-mile times have been all over the place in the various magazine tests thus far but most are in the high 11s / Low 12s @ 118-120mph range. Jeff
  18. Site looks great Mark It looked like rain so we only went about 3 minutes north (Of the shop) on 315 looking for some run-down buildings and that spot fit the bill. I have no clue what street it was on as we were there a total of maybe 5 minutes. Between the coming rain and the safety of having a car like that in the ghetto made it a very short visit lol. Jeff
  19. Posting for a friend. They are in 5A / Row 18 / Seats 23 & 24. Not student tickets so no ID required. Just selling for face value -- $65 each. If interested please call my cell: 614-374-1736 Jeff
  20. I got a couple still pics of you: http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/IFO08samr1-3_1.jpg http://ipsmotorsports.net/pictures/IFO08samr1_1.jpg
  21. I wasn't commenting on who beat who, simply that the only pics I had of you were with/behind Mike's car -- relax. I have a few of the wingless car by itself and I wasn't sure which was yours until I looked at your sig. To be honest I really didn't care. Since you brought it up, Mike did go 1-1 against you (Running a 11.4 @ 131 to your 11.7 or 11.8? maybe @ 127 the first pass (Which the pics are from). Since neither car was running anywhere near its potential I didn't feel it was necessary to comment on who won or lost but thanks for offering it up Jeff
  22. I have one of yours I can send you -- pretty sure it was an 11.7 pass :)j Jeff
  23. I saw it walk around quite a bit one pass and I was hoping Mikey was going to keep her shiny side up Car screams when he is able to stay in it so it should REALLY start flying with some more seat-time. Can't wait to see what she will do when the weather starts cooperating in the fall. Jeff
  24. That's Tanks Sentra that just happened to be in a bad spot for where you were filming. From where we were sitting in the second set of stands he wasn't even in the picture for more than a second lol. Mike's wife was doing the filming and hit the wrong "Record" button so we didn't get it. Jeff
