When I first read this thread yesterday morning, I was at the McDonald's east of Polaris. I was listening to the workers and all I could hear was Spanish.

The GX8 in my sig runs 24/7 recording and compessing HDTV. The XPS 2 is on when I'm in the house and overnight charging and syncing up with my phone. Never had a problem.

It's going to be tough for it to play WoW. I had a Dell laptop that was a PIII 1.2 Ghz with a 32 MB GeForce 2 Go video card, and it was the top of the line model Dell offered at the time.

As mentioned before, the kid just wants it to be like his friends. So this throws out any argument about emergencies and stuff.
