  1. Ned Flanders got it done, and 10 years later, his eyes fell out.
  2. They don't do cool stuff like that in my boring classes at Keller.
  3. Yes, I've got RR Premium, which is 8 Mbps down.
  4. Thanks! I didn't know about these other sites. I usually use toast.net, Nibble server. That seems to give the best results for me. Here are my results from WOW and Speakeasy Chicago:
  5. Yeah, it seems like she should have hung in there to braked some to minimize the damage. It looks to me like her unmanned car hit the hardest of all of them.
  6. My all-time favorite reality show is COPS. I consider it one of the best comedies around. Two funny quotes I remember: Woman with bleeding nose and mouth with boyfriend being carried away in 'cuffs: "He didn't hit me." Another great one was a drug dealer pedaling along the sidewalk on his bike and a police car pulled along side and yelled for him to pull over. The guy says, "I can't, I don't have any brakes!" The officer stopped his car and simply jogged up to the bike and tackled him.
  7. Bump for nice software. It automatically keeps up with the construction going on, and gives you many different printing options as well, and more detail than your common internet map sites. It has saved me countless times when I get lost in other cities. Just turn on my laptop, and it gets me home!
  8. Funny video I saw posted on another forum. One woman unexplicably bails out only to almost get run over by the minivan behind her. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7602705952127403216
  9. The 2.8 GHz desktop, what video slot does it have?
  10. Wow, didn't know the Sidekick stored information on the servers. That's pretty cool! Now we can see how useful that can be if a stupid person steals your phone.
  11. Consider yourself lucky Buck, this is what happened to me between January 29th - March 29th this year. Taken from my blog: In the end, everything cost around $300 out of my pocket. I filed an accident report against the lady, and her license was suspended in May. You can see pics of the ownage here.
  12. 1 GB: 2 x 512 MB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 533 (PC2 4200) $50 for both. This was pulled out of a Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2. http://img135.imageshack.us/img135/4405/dsc062791ut.th.jpg 512 MB: 2 x 256MB 200-Pin DDR SO-DIMM DDR 333 (PC 2700) $30 for both. This was pulled out of a Dell Inspiron 700m. http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/6508/dsc062776xr.th.jpg There really isn't much to say about the memory, only that they worked fine, and were removed for upgrade purposes. The packaging is from the new memory I bought. This video card was pulled from the same Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2, I know it's going to be tough to sell here, because it only works in Gen 2s or Inspiron 9300s. Nice card, never overclocked or had any problems with it. If I can't sell it here, then I know where I can, but I wanted to try locally first. 256MB nVidia Geforce Go 6800 Ultra $120 http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/3527/dsc062732yg.th.jpg
  13. Orion also set me up with a sweet phone, the Palm Treo 700w. The phone was just released, and he was able to get me one even before the Verizon Stores had any. Great guy! I came over from T-Mobile who I was with for 4 years. You get a lot of minutes for a low price with them, but the coverage was poor. I always had 1 or 2 bars in my cube. This weekend I'm camping in Danville, OH. T-Mobile never got a signal there, let's see how Verizon handles.
  14. Laptop has been sold. Please lock thread.
  15. What kind of processor does it have, and what speed?

  17. Another question. When did you buy it? Just to have an idea how old it is.
  18. In case it doesn't work out for the computer parts, I'm interested in the video card. 256 MB, right?
  19. Thanks for the bump, man. That is correct, when I bought this laptop, Clevo, a manufacturer in Taiwan, was making laptops for Alienware, Sager, Prostar, Voodoo PC, Hypersonic, and more. Since then Alienware has gone with Uniwill last I heard. Dells, HPs, and Compaqs are made by Quanta. The last company that made some of their notebooks in the US was IBM, but now they've sold that division to Lenevo. Clevo is a nice manufacturer, they came out with an SLI laptop.
  20. I'm using the money to upgrade my Dell Inspiron XPS Gen 2. Putting in a new video card and more memory, plus an external TV Tuner and external hard drive since I'm losing that with this laptop. This laptop doesn't get much use. I mainly use it to record TV, and I watch it from my other laptops throughout the house.
