  1. Isn't the rule of thumb 1/8 mile time * 1.55? At least that's what I thought it was. Anyways, if that is the case, you are looking at a low - mid 12 second car... smile.gif

    sexy notch

No. All GT's were hatchbacks or 'Verts, but LX's could be had in all body styles. The best part about the notchbacks were that they were structurally better than the hatches and lighter. They don't appeal to everyone though...
  3. Regardless, can anyone verify this? I'm sportin' wood thinkin' about it...
  4. I've seen this orange coupe at Norwalk do that. Insane...
  5. Please do, Sam. smile.gif
  6. Do you still have these heads for sale?
  7. Nice car! Got any times with those horsepower numbers? Very FC... smile.gif
  8. I have been talking about it for a while now, and finally sold my Galaxie so I could pursue a Fox Bodied Mustang. Today I bought a 1986 Mustang GT. 5 speed, AC, 90K miles, been painted, no rust, very solid, runs great, but I need to do a tune up, etc.. It's all stock, but has the pathetic 2.73 gears. I'll be changing that soon, along with a few other things. Here's a picture of it and the are more here: http://www.cofba.org/users/wease/Mustang/1986GT-2.JPG The AC doesn't work, it's never been changed over to the newer type. However, the best part of this car is that I got it for a mere $3800...
  9. Fixed it. The lever connecting the clutch to the pedal had come off. Popped it back on (can't see up there, had to feel around) and it fired right up...
  10. I think the switch that allows you to start your car (because the clutch is fully engaged) went bad on my just purchased '86 Mustang GT. I can pop start the car, but it won't start when it's off and you try to start it. Can't get it to turn over at all. Can somebody point me in the right direction of what I need to do to fix this? Thanks... smile.gif [ 25. April 2004, 01:05 AM: Message edited by: Wease ]
  11. Nice. I don't want an ARM though, I'm never moving again... smile.gif
  12. Just got in for the good rates, too. 5.3%. Closed this past week and rates just went up a half a point. When I bought the house, I was at 6.3%. But the title company screwed up the filing of the papers and one of the old owners of my house was still on the deed. Took a few months to clear that up and by then (last summer), rates had gone back up to over 6 again. They were down enough these past couple months, we jumped on it. Went from a 30 year mortgage to a 20 year. And my payment still went down! I don't have a mortgage payment next month either. Anybody else get in on the good rates before they went back up?
  13. You're lucky I'm not an Admin anymore, I'd be banning your ass for that one...

  19. I'm not sure how you cut it, but I have mine cut as a fade and have Mop at Tuttle Mall do it. Emily does it and she's the best. She's a little hottie, too... smile.gif
  20. Yeah, let me know, otherwise they are going on EBay. smile.gif
