  1. Well, I can't tell for sure, but I'm going to say no, they don't have a steel sleeve.
  2. How can I tell if they have steel valve seat? The vavles and springs are out.
  3. Tell him if he's interested, I'll let them go for $450. If he's still interested, I'll post pics. smile.gif
  4. Yeah Dave, I think that would be a fair price. Yes, they are original with nothing done to them. But they are legit. I would appreciate you asking your step father. smile.gif
  5. Regular, I think. Any other way of determining which? And how much do you think they are worth?
  6. I have a set of 428 CJ heads. They are in need of a valve job and sandblasted/cleaned up as they've been in my basement for a few years. I'm looking to sell them, how much do you think they are worth? I paid about $500 for them. TIA... smile.gif [ 15. April 2004, 04:45 PM: Message edited by: Wease ]
  7. I still can't believe they made a movie geared towards high school kids about a girl that used to be a porn star. I cringe everytime that preview comes on TV, my daughter's in the room, and they actually say "porn star"... graemlins/nonono.gif

  16. Thanks Alex. I have a couple people interested (not from this board) and I'm gonna see how it goes with them before I take an ad out. Like I said, I don't want to get rid of it that badly. But I'm looking to get something that I might drive more often... smile.gif

  20. Thanks, Alex. It's only going if I get what I want for it. Otherwise, I'll keep it. I still love the car, I just don't drive it as much as I should. So we'll see what happens... smile.gif

  22. Gauging interest in selling my 'Vert: 1967 Ford Galaxie XL Convertible: Matching numbers Q-Code 428 cubic inch V8. C6 Automatic transmission, AC, power top. Great shape, runs and drives perfect. A very rare car with one of the biggest engines ever offered by Ford. $8500 or best offer. There is nothing wrong with it, I just don't drive it as much as I used to and have been thinking about getting another toy, something I might use more often. http://home.columbus.rr.com/wease/Galaxie_-_1.jpg http://home.columbus.rr.com/wease/Galaxie_-_5.jpg http://home.columbus.rr.com/wease/Galaxie_-_8.jpg http://home.columbus.rr.com/wease/Galaxie_-_10.jpg
