I HATE mail in rebates.. bought a cell phone online from Circuit City a couple years ago w/ a $130.00 mail in rebate. The list was a mile long so I had a feeling they were going to screw me. One of the things was, "copy of 3 statements showing balance paid in full". And the big catch is this all must be dated w/in 120 days. So the first statement I received does not show a balance paid since this is my first statement. This pushes me back 30 days. I wait for each upcoming statement, and of course by time the 4th statement comes around I'm close to the deadline, but thought I mailed it in time.. NOPE! get a rejection letter in the mail saying they got it late! I was furious. I called the number and talked to some worthless moron. She kept telling me I should have just mailed in the first 3 statements.. I couldnt get it through her head that it said "showing balance paid in full". I didnt have a balance on the first statement, and thought they were going to use that as a loophole to screw me.. regardless I'm never going to Circuit City again.

yeah the way our luck has gone it shouldn't surprise us... but it does sound like he should be okay.. They seem to be pretty optimistic.. He better start wearing some crazy braces when he gets back...maybe some knight armor or somethin from the waist down?.. cant be too safe.

The Gameday crew as well as several other writers have had 1. Texas* and 2. OSU. The * being Young's return.. w/ him gone most people have OSU preseason #1... I find it hard to believe the defense will play any different w/ a #2 or 3 ranking vs. a #1 ranking.

I use a Fossil front pocket style w/ money clip. I had one like this for ~5years before the leather finally got so loose stuff would fall out. I've had this one for over a year and it's still perfect. The key is to get the kind w/ the magnetic clip, and not the metal clip. Everyone I know w/ the metal money clip has had them fall apart way too soon. I'm with you. It seems awful convenient for someone to say "Yeah, it was Maurice Clarett!!" I'll wait to see if they actually have any proof against him. I'm with everything you're saying.. Biggest problem may be passing Texas though. You gotta believe they'll lose atleast one, but it's gonna be tough to pass them having lost to them.. Hopefully they blow 2 games.. or maybe USC gets blown out and Ohio State can pass them.. All kinds of possibilities.. As long as Ohio State keeps winning.. and the more convincingly the better..
