  1. Isnt' that the truth... I laughed through much of those videos.
  2. Can't say that I have ever complained.. I just deal with it instead of bitching just like everyone else.
  3. Reminds me of this bad boy: 1973 TOYOTA CORONA MK II Wagon http://www.euronationvw.com/images/EddieMKII/engineshot_eddie.jpg http://www.euronationvw.com/images/EddieMKII/jdmangle.jpg On airbags, 2J swapped and haggard as fuck.. but the oil cooler just doesn't fly on this whip. Overall I think it's hottttt, I'm all for the sleeper wagons like this one.
  4. I prefer not to have anything to do with this shit... I know either way the polls go, I'll be pissed off.
  5. If it's carbed, I would suggest having them tuned.. weather changes have a small effect on carbs. Getting them cleaned wouldn't be a bad idea either.
  6. That Toyota Starlet(yellow hatchback) was fuckin cookin' man!
  7. Yeah, I'm on Vipstylecars.com. There are a couple other sites that I visit but I'm not registered on any others. The ride is very, VERY comparable to stock believe it or not. The coilovers are 8Kf and 6Kr with a 32way inverted monotube design. The dampening on those bad boys is phenominally well done for this car.. I drive it absolutely slammed and it's smooth, very responsive and it doesn't necessarily feel like such a big car anymore.

  9. 98 Viper GTS-R > all vipers Best looking IMO.
  10. Salvaged and still asking 4500.00.. I don't know much about bikes but that's still pricey.
  11. The coilovers don't adjust the camber except for the camber plates up front.. That's the reason why I bought adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms and adjustable Toe-arms. Like stated.. I haven't had it aligned properly nor have I adjusted the camber myself. It's a complete IRS setup..
  12. Oh, I realize exactly what you're saying.. and I knew I would hear shit from people but the fact of the matter is, who else is going to introduce knowledge to the community? Some could care less, others will hate and then there are people that can relate with my taste. I'm not out preaching anything, I just want to share something I'm happy about. As far as how much camber I'm running in the rear right now, I would say no more than -2.5. I actually JUST got these installed a night or two ago so I really haven't had the time to get it aligned. Best I could do from the comfort of my own garage installing all the aftermarket Toe-Arms and Rear Upper Camber Arms is eyeball and take measurements over and over again. I have to get ahold of someone on these boards that said they could get my low ass car on the alignment rack.. that's my biggest problem right now, because there's literally 3-4 inches below my catalytic converters. I don't want a bunch of camber in the rear because I don't find it too attractive myself, but If it's a must to make the size and offset wheels I want to fit, then so be it. I tend to be very Mild on the whole, "Wild VIP" style look, and I prefer a clean/sleek look over something rediculous. Slowly it will come together, and everyone will get the whole picture.. love it or hate it.
  13. some say VIP/Executive styling go back to the days where Yakuza and Japanese Gangs were prevalent.. Not so much anymore but many people believe that's where the roots started showing up.
  14. I definately won't be Dubbin'.. I'm just going with a really mild wheel setup I'm really looking at a set of these.. http://og-made.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/03/wx1.jpg AME Shallen WX wheels F: 19x9, +10 ET, HI disk R: 19x10, +10 ET, LO disk I shouldn't have to run any camber, just a mild tire stretch and I will have a nice, flush fit.
  15. Because the rear end of the corolla is solid rear axle.. I will be running a decent amount of camber on the front once I get it running again.
  16. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v450/rideordie619/354354.jpg Think he daily drives this G50? Most likely... BTW, a Civic isn't considered a VIP platform... Just because it might have 20's that are cambered doesn't mean it's considered VIP either. Like I said, there's some culture behind the whole VIP thing.. it's way different then, "DUB" style cars.. you just have to know that difference. Some peoples taste are super wide wheels with lots of camber to make them fit, I'm a bit in-between.. I don't want so much it looks retarded.
  17. Sometimes people put wheels on their cars that really don't fit, or shouldn't fit, so camber is a solution to getting the size wheel you want to fit. It has its downsides like excessive tire wear, but it's all a part of the, "look."
  18. How do you figure? The idea behind Executive/VIP styling is cleanliness and beautiful styling... with a whole bunch of culture behind it.
  19. lol, it looks sooo whimpy.. but I'm sure it packs a punch!
  20. Just thought I would share some pictarz I was able to get in after installing my Curtains, Fusa, JP stickers(yeah, I know lol), Insurance Group coilovers, RUCA's and Toe-arms. Without further adeu, The pictures http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/photo.jpg http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/IMG_0851.jpg http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/IMG_0856.jpg http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/IMG_0844.jpg http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/IMG_0827.jpg http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/IMG_0839.jpg http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/IMG_0855.jpg http://www.portal.conceptual-x.com/andy/q45/IMG_0818.jpg If you don't quite understand the look I'm going for, the car should look similar to something like this http://inlinethumb47.webshots.com/10606/2560606060101163224S600x600Q85.jpg
