  1. Well, there quite a few people are having similar problems with them blowing up with very little miles if you do a quick google search. Seems to be a hot topic on the F150 forums, so I understand. Definitely his fault(sarcasm) http://www.f150forum.com/f70/first-time-my-eco-blew-up-208912/
  2. I've only read horror stories about the Ecoboost motors in the ford trucks. Like said before, it looked great on paper, but what I'm reading about and seeing how Ford is handling the situation is pretty concerning.

  4. They have their typical problems to look out for, and parts from memory, aren't cheap in some circumstances. For example, my buddy's AC blower went out... parts wanted 3k dollars for a new one with blending assembly. Not likely you'll have that same issue, but that's a steep ticket for something so stupid. I dunno... They're a car you have to really be into, to enjoy. But, I think the last car I would consider flipping would be a SAAB.
  5. really clay? Looks pretty damn clean doe.
  6. wow, that's some hackjob shit.
  7. Jones, wouldn't mind seeing yours.. always thought these were cool
  8. Paging Clay, we need a CReview.
  9. Pretty ugly, right? Right on par with a Maxima. :dumb:
  10. No other truck can pretzel it's frame like a Raptor, either.
  11. Saw this car running at Import Faceoff and it sounded to run really well. GLWS, very cool car you got there!
  12. Weren't you just talking shit about someone or a shop charging people for brushing up existing maps, and here you are admitting to running the same maps on two separate and unrelated cars? Talk about sketchy. I'm sure every car isn't the same by any means. I'm nowhere close to a "pro tuner," but even I'm not dumb enough to think that will fly when I'm paying someone for a quality tune.
  13. lol you either have no idea what a hipster is, what a millenial is, or both. But, I think the younger generation(younger than I) definitely wants everything handed to them on a silver platter.
  14. I'd love to hear someone laugh like, "turbo FWD Honda, I bet that hooks." And then rape all four tires right infront of them.
  15. Lot of people have no idea the exist, let alone real-time AWD, but it's probably one of the Civics I would consider owning if you could find one sans rust. Typically called Wagovans in the US, they're called Shuttles in Japan and Beagles in Europe. Very cool cars if you ask me. Yes, this is static. http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5043/5342256898_2bc5a11ddc_o.jpg
  16. Are you still getting the P0103 after replacing the MAF sensor? Those stock DV diapraghms are known to tear after some time, so that would be suspect to me. Diverter valves are plumbed in after the MAF so if the diaphraghm is torn it can cause idle problems that the MAF is trying to adapt to from the unmetered air. May not be a bad idea to force a TB alignment by disconnecting the battery and touching the ends together to make sure the system is drained of any charge. Once you give it power again, turn the key to ACC ON and you should hear the TB servos move and align themselves. Give it a few seconds to do its thing and then you can start the car. How many miles are on the car? Have the O2 or CTS sensors been replaced at any point? It doesn't sound likely in your case, but the coolant temp sensors can give these cars all kinds of trouble when they go bad. I suspect your gas mileage is in the shitter right now, too lol.
  17. 43 rolled in on their own power, how many left on flatbeds?
  18. Get the codes run at the parts store and report back. VagCom isn't the only thing that can pull codes on a VW.
