  1. Life without a funcar is no life at all
  2. I had one of these as a beater a few years ago and they're awesome because you can set beers on the front bumper. I miss that lack of an option on newer trucks.
  3. If you want to spend less than half the cost of Michelin AS/3's and get the same performance and mileage, check out BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S's. I had them on the Camaro and they're fucking awesome for daily grinds. They stick in the Summer better than any other all-seasons I know of for the price and rain was no issue (the three days ever that I didn't check the forecast first). No road noise at all. They are noticeably squishier in turns than racecar tires, but that's a given.
  4. smoked weed with some bums in california once around 1999. Realized I lost my wallet at the bar, walked back, bar was closed. Group of bums standing out front. Told em what happened, they said smoke this, I said okay, then we exchanged a bunch of cool bro stories. I went back the next night and got my wallet.
  5. Keep it and mod it into a weekend-only car. Big fuckin cam, catless headers, and exhaust. For just a few grand you'll love it all over again.
  6. You wanted a CTS-V for years, got one, now you're selling it? Get rid of all your Hectormobiles and keep this thing.
  7. It bothers me that they rarely take pictures of garages, especially ones that look somewhat interesting like yours.
  8. I think they installed your patio a little crooked.
  9. 4cyl lol rumors of manual lol just lol
  10. When I worked on the railroad (union) I wasn't allowed to throw away my own trash after reaching our destination because that was somebody else's job.
  11. HEY NEBRASKA KEEP PASSING KTHX ZOINK LOL
  12. that elevator looks like it needs 482
  13. I'm ignorant with all of this but I feel like it should be dynamic depending on the job. I feel changing fluids and filters should charge a cheaper hourly rate than swapping an engine or something relatively difficult. However, in reality, having a tech add up all those times for a list of jobs on one single car could get hazy so I don't know. I suppose to answer your question, I feel 90-100/hr for an good shop to do a job and do it right the first time seems fair to me.
  14. Yeah, cylinder misfire could be anything. Coil pack, plug, vacuum leak, injector, fuel filter, blah. I smell a money pit.
