  1. If you want to spend less than half the cost of Michelin AS/3's and get the same performance and mileage, check out BFGoodrich G-Force Comp 2 A/S's. I had them on the Camaro and they're fucking awesome for daily grinds. They stick in the Summer better than any other all-seasons I know of for the price and rain was no issue (the three days ever that I didn't check the forecast first). No road noise at all. They are noticeably squishier in turns than racecar tires, but that's a given.
  2. smoked weed with some bums in california once around 1999. Realized I lost my wallet at the bar, walked back, bar was closed. Group of bums standing out front. Told em what happened, they said smoke this, I said okay, then we exchanged a bunch of cool bro stories. I went back the next night and got my wallet.
  3. I had a friend that started a design job at a union. He walked into his office on the first day and his computer was sitting there not hooked up. So he started to put it together, someone let him know he can't do that.

He sat there for 3 weeks waiting on someone to plug his computer in.

    Efficiency FTW!

When I worked on the railroad (union) I wasn't allowed to throw away my own trash after reaching our destination because that was somebody else's job.

  4. I'm ignorant with all of this but I feel like it should be dynamic depending on the job. I feel changing fluids and filters should charge a cheaper hourly rate than swapping an engine or something relatively difficult. However, in reality, having a tech add up all those times for a list of jobs on one single car could get hazy so I don't know. I suppose to answer your question, I feel 90-100/hr for an good shop to do a job and do it right the first time seems fair to me.
