I have a 92 Dodge Spirit. Whenever you give it gas it wobbles sides to side. But if you are coasting down the road, it goes in a straight line with no issues.

Thanks for the help. Someone else had mentioned the thing in the dist. cap. I will try giving it a swap and see how it goes. IT is not a turbo so does it still have the HEP?

I have had this happen twice about two months apart. I will be cruising around fine and suddenly it starts to run really rough and will not rev up. Then it will die shortly there after. And wont re start. If you wait about 20 mins it will restart and run rough for about 10secs and then will not restart. If you wait another 45mins it will start up like nothing is wrong and run fine. Every once in a while it will run rough but only in spurts. I have changed the fuel pump and fuel filter after it did it the first time. Now i have no clue what this issue could be. I would be thankful for any help anyone can give.

Wasn't sure if this should go here or tech help. I am replacing the fork seals on my 1992 yz 125 and i needed to know if you have to take out the bottom of the shock. You have to use a large hex head bit to unscrew the bottom of the fork. Right now, I have the cap off and the spring out. I also have the dust seal and snap ring moved. So can i just "slide hammer" the fork apart? B/c when i tried it doesn't want to come apart like the videos i see on youtube. Any input would help.

I just brought a 03 ranger with 135,xxx miles on it and the trans. filter has never been changed. And he told me that his mechanic said if you are not having issues with it don't change it. This doesn't sound wise to me. Anyone else's thoughts?

I used a combination of the coat hanger bent like the pick you are talking about, a screw taped to a screw driver and air compressor. Took the better part of an hour to smash and tear it apart enough to blow out with the air compressor.

The tube it is in is only about and 1.5" wide. I will give the coat hanger a try but it is in there pretty good so i dont' know if it will be rigid enough to stay in shape. and last time i tried the screw thing the tape ripped and the screw got stuck in there so i'm caution of the screw idea. but i might have to get better tape and try again. thanks for the help, any suggestion are welcomed

i am working on a 96 nissan sentra and the plastic plug wire boot is broke off down in the "head." The wire pulled right off the top of the plug boot. I have most of the boot out( by pulling and breaking it with needle nose's) but there is a rubber bushing around the base of the plug i can't get out. Any body have this problem before? I know last time i did the wires i had the same issue it was a major pain then too. Any ideas would be helpful.

My friend tried to tell me today that in 93 there were three different tire options on trans am. And that two of them were governed at 110mph and the third was z rated tires and could get up to 150mph. I pretty sure he is an idiot but i wanted to get some input before i called him on this.

I would like to find a quality grill guard/bumper/bull bar something that might protect my truck at least a little when I hit a deer or something else. Anybody know of a website to check out or store. Or even somewhere that could fab one up. I'm also looking to get a limited slip put in the rear. It is only two wheel drive and i would like for it to be able to get around a little better in the winter. I have not been able to find any LS anywhere. So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be very thankful.

It didn't really seem wet but it did have the fuel smell. I will try to get a reg. later this week and see if it does anything. Thanks for the help.

I pulled the vac. line on the end of the regulator and it smelled a little of gas. But i mean it would smell a little like gas wouldn't it? Or should it not at all? And i have checked the spark it i getting good spark. Thanks for the help so far.

It has a issue starting. It cranks and cranks but doesn't fire up. I have to use starting fluid and then it will fire up. It doesn't do it all of the time, normally only the first start of the day. I just replaced the fuel pump in it. B/c it went bad. I thought that might fix it but no luck. IS there maybe some type of regulator or something like that that is going bad? Filter? any ideas would help. And if anyone know a good jeep forum i could ask on to that would be nice. Thanks.

I have a 92 yz 125 and the clutch basket is broke. I called yamaha and they said only a 91-92 clutch basket will work. Does anyone know why? I'm assking b/c 93 and up parts are all over the place. So I was wondering if it' just the plates that might be different or what. I wanted to see if i could change baskets and plates and whatever else to upgrade it. Or if i'm stuck trying to find only the 91-92. Thanks.
